The One Big, Beautiful Bill is one big, beautiful win for the American people.

It was great to attend the Lenawee Chamber Business Expo and connect with the many outstanding businesses and service providers that help drive our local economy. I remain committed to supporting policies that foster growth, reduce barriers, and help our businesses thrive.

As a member of the Great Lakes Task Force and the @NatResources Committee, I am dedicated to strengthening efforts to protect the Great Lakes. I was proud to support the American Water Stewardship Act, which would reauthorize funding for several long-standing programs to maintain and improve water quality throughout the nation, including the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

The contrast is clear. @HouseGOP secured the largest tax cut in American history. Radical Democrats want to pursue an agenda that would raise your taxes and cost American families $355,000 each.

It's common sense: men do not belong in women’s sports. I was proud to usher the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act through the House to strengthen Title IX's protections for women and ensure a safe and level playing field for female athletes.

It was great to meet Adrian College's president-elect, Dr. Tony Coumoundouros, and hear about his vision for the college. I look forward to working with him to ensure that students learn the skills necessary to succeed.

During the Biden-Harris administration, fentanyl poured into our communities at alarming rates, leaving families across the country devastated by the loss of loved ones. @HouseGOP passed and @POTUS signed into law the HALT Fentanyl Act to provide law enforcement with the tools they need to keep Americans safe from these lethal substances.

Parents know what is best for their child's education. I will continue to lead efforts to restore parental control throughout our nation's education system.

Thanks to @HouseGOP, nearly 90% of seniors are paying no taxes on their Social Security.

Reading scores have been plummeting nationwide. It is past time we reject failed fads, raise standards, and ensure every child gains the skills essential to be successful. Proud to usher through the House the Science of Reading Act to improve literacy rates.

The historic 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act lowers housing costs and helps more families achieve the American Dream of homeownership. By reducing burdensome regulatory barriers to new home construction, allowing banks to freely deploy funding, and modernizing HUD programs, we will expand the housing supply for Michigan families.

Washington should make life easier for hardworking Michigan families, not harder. That's why, @HouseGOP passed the Working Families Tax Cuts to deliver the largest tax refund season in American history and provide real economic relief to Michigan families.

I was glad to visit Chipotle in Adrian and hear how Republican policies are empowering Michigan workers. Policies like no tax on tips are supporting workers, like those at Chipotle, and helping them keep more of their hard-earned money.

Touring FEDCO's Monroe facility with Secretary @Sonderling47 was a great opportunity to see American manufacturing growth in our backyard. FEDCO is expanding its footprint with a $23 million expansion, which will create good-paying jobs in Monroe. This growth is possible due to policies that are providing businesses with the certainty they need to invest in America's future. We must continue to work together to support Made-in-Michigan manufacturing!
