Christopher Abbott opens up on how he's approaching fame after turning 40 and being cast in X-Men. “It comes and it goes and it comes in different ways and goes in different ways. I don't feel like I'm particularly famous. You know, I mean, people recognize you sometimes and that's fine, but it hasn't been like this sudden, like, exponential jump in anything. It feels, I think things generally feel the same. I can be very out of touch with what's going on so I just, you know, my life is pretty simple. I just sort of walk around and do errands.”

Christopher Abbott tells the story of when he snuck into an audition and got called out for it in front of 20 other actors: “I found a chair and I was sitting down, and I was like, just starting to, like, trying to learn [the lines]. And I was like, ‘What's that?’ And she was like, ‘Who, whatever, signed you up for this audition?’ And I kind of like, went over closer to her to, like, keep it down...”

Christopher Abbott talks about the last time he watched ‘Girls’ and his decision to walk away from the iconic show. “I mean, back when it came out is the last time I saw it...the truth is, it was all amicable and really understanding on all, like from all parties. And I went back and I did the episode later. You know, that was fun. And it's great, you know, and Lena and I still chat and it's fantastic.”
