Idk about that, FMLY. They still owe Marlowe thousands from a tour in 2022. If he left 15 months ago, then why are we still waiting for our money? @SolemnBrigham 🤨

#SOTDwithCastor Day 530: “Lost Arts” by @LOrangeMusic and @SolemnBrigham. Another track by Marlowe, with their hallmarks: a dusty old beat (with some nice guitar licks) underlying a frantic, chorus-free rap wrestling with inner doubts and struggles: youtu.be/6mCzUXlXB6Q?si=Ew28…

It's always a somber commemoration: Nov. 10 marks the 125th anniversary of Wilmington's 1898 coup & massacre. I talked with some folks about how far we've come in recognizing the history and its impacts, and how far we've got to go. starnewsonline.com/story/new…

Wilmington's 1898 coup and massacre at 125: 'Healing forward' with more work to be done

Locals reflect on how much has changed since the 100th anniversary in 1998, and on what needs to happen for Wilmington to fully reckon with its past.

#SOTDwithCastor Day 144: “The Basement” by @LOrangeMusic and @SolemnBrigham. This NC duo collaborates under the title Marlowe, with Solemn Brigham doing the MCing and L’Orange doing the production. I’m not a hip hop guy, but I like how they sound: youtu.be/uuZEdzyg_EU
