SpaceX has locked Anthropic into paying $3.1 billion a MONTH for compute starting in December.
That's $37 billion a year, $120.5 billion through 2029.
Every month, the bill is about 80% of Anthropic's current revenue, bigger than its Google and Amazon deals.
Anthropic's own filing warns short-term compute "carries a higher cost per unit" and will "compress our operating margin".

AMD CEO Lisa Su held up a $1,499 lunchbox-sized machine on stage and ran a 235-billion-parameter AI model on it live, with no data center or cloud behind it.
It's a direct shot at Nvidia's $4,000 AI box.
Inside is AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the first x86 chip whose CPU and GPU share one 128GB pool of memory. Up to 110GB of it can go to the GPU. An RTX 5090 has 32GB.
On DeepSeek R1, it ran more than 3x faster than an RTX 5080.
Someone paying for Claude, ChatGPT Pro, Cursor and Gemini spends about $5,280 a year. This box pays for itself within months.

Elon Musk says Cloudflare is underestimating how much AI agents will take over the internet.
MUSK: “Agentic internet traffic already exceeds human traffic... Cloudflare predicted that in five years, agentic AI traffic will be a thousand times more than human traffic. And if anything, I think that is underestimating.”
Ron Baron, whose firm is a major SpaceX investor, says he has modeled Starlink at $1 trillion in revenue and a $14–15 trillion valuation within 10 years, and now thinks that’s “really light.”
