Not too long ago he would have put his head down and rammed to the rim
Now he is playing under control and hitting skilled shots like this
Hard work is showing
Brandon Miller had quietly been KILLING this season

Actually love this old clip of Matt Painter
It’s about the process and doing the right things ALL THE TIME
No chance of winning with 0.6 seconds to go and a 5 point deficit but FIGHTING until the last horn is a mentality that is contagious

People are going to hate on this stat but THIS is what they drafted him to do
He is Allen Iverson with his approach, not Steve Nash
Not every team in the league needs a dude to score like this, but the Kings did, and they picked the right guy
Darius Acuff Jr. has the most shot attempts in NBA history through the first 3 games of a player’s career with 74
He’s also the first player to attempt at least 20 shots in each of his first 3 career games
Game 1: 24 FGA
Game 2: 26 FGA
Game 3: 23 FGA
