GREEN - Today for National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week!
This week highlights the importance of identifying, preventing, and addressing Lead based hazards and Childhood Lead poisoning within our city and beyond. Lighting the tower green will help serve as a visual reminder of the vital work being done across the city to address Lead poisoning, from organizations like the Cleveland Department of Public Health, to the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition and many others. Moreover, it will demonstrate our community’s commitment to creating a healthier, safer environment for all our residents. Through education, outreach and collaboration with our families and community partners we will continue to work hard to reduce the risks associated with Lead based hazards all over Cleveland.
