Arizona’s farmers need reliable water to keep feeding America. We’re putting research to work to help provide innovative water solutions. 🇺🇸💧      Today, I joined @RepCiscomani, @USDA_ARS, and our @uarizona partners to cut the ribbon on the new Southwest Watershed Research Center facility in Tucson.      The work here will help farmers and ranchers:      ✅ Keep more rainfall on their land.   ✅ Protect their soil and reduce erosion.   ✅ Better predict water flowing into reservoirs.   ✅ Keep working lands productive through drought.      And we’re delivering beyond the research lab:      🌱 Advancing our Great American Cotton Plan with stronger crop insurance options and new trade opportunities.      🚜 Providing more than $405 MILLION in farm safety net payments to Arizona producers this month.      🇺🇸 Supporting an Arizona fertilizer project selected through our $500 MILLION FIELDS program.      ⛽ Developing $8 BILLION in Harvest Fuel Relief, with eligibility and payment details coming in mid-November.      Thank you, Congressman Ciscomani, for your partnership and commitment to Arizona agriculture.

Texas Farm Bureau thanks President Trump for taking action to allow emergency use of dyed diesel on highways to help lower diesel costs and provide much needed relief to farm and ranch families. In addition, the $8 billion in harvest fuel relief is welcome and much-needed support. This administration heard directly from farm country and delivered. Fuel expenses impact every acre farmed and every commodity hauled, making these actions especially meaningful during a difficult economic period for agriculture. Although more work remains to address the challenges facing farm and ranch families, this is a step forward.

🚨 TUESDAY TAKEDOWN: STEAL SNAP. GET BUSTED. More than $1 MILLION in alleged SNAP fraud at a Michigan convenience store. Mohinder Singh, operator of Romario’s Party Store in Lansing, was indicted on one count of theft of public money and nine counts of SNAP fraud. Prosecutors allege he: ▪️ Gave customers just 50 cents in cash for every $1 in SNAP benefits. ▪️ Accepted SNAP benefits to pay off personal debts and store credit. ▪️ Exchanged benefits for ineligible items. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison for theft of public money and up to five years for each SNAP fraud count. SNAP is meant to help families put FOOD on the table. Taxpayers should never bankroll a fraud scheme. Report suspected SNAP fraud ➡️ fns.usda.gov/fraud

MORE MARKETS FOR IOWA CORN. MORE AMERICAN BIOFUELS.    Today, I joined @MikeNaigIA, Acting Under Secretary Michelle Bekkering, and the @ADMupdates team in Cedar Rapids to see American agriculture at work and announce new opportunities for our farmers.      This facility processes approximately 750,000 bushels of corn every day, turning American crops into food, feed, and fuel for customers here at home and around the world.      Under @POTUS, we are building on that strength:   ✅ Reached an initial deal with Mexico that could unlock a $1.5 BILLION market opportunity for U.S. ethanol.      ✅ Announced $10 MILLION for Iowa’s Working Lands Water Quality Project to support conservation on working farms through RCPP.    ✅ Delivering more than $1 BILLION in farm safety net payments to Iowa producers this month with increased reference prices from the Working Families Tax Cuts Act.    We’re also expanding American fertilizer production through FIELDS, including a project right here in Iowa, and building the $8 BILLION Harvest Fuel Relief Program to help producers facing higher costs.      Thank you to the Iowa farmers and workers who keep this country fed and fueled. @USDA has your back.

IOWA CORN. AMERICAN ETHANOL. GLOBAL DEMAND. 🌽🇺🇸      US ethanol exports hit a record $4.7 BILLION in 2025.      Now, we’re building on that momentum and working to expand access to Mexico’s ethanol market.      Under @POTUS, @USDA is fighting for more markets for American farmers and more AMERICAN ETHANOL.

Over $325M in 42 projects to boost farm operations & conserve natural resources! 💪 Through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), USDA is working with partners to help farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners solve natural resources challenges on agricultural land. Through @POTUS' Working Families Tax Cuts Act, we're delivering the largest long-term investment in @USDA_NRCS conservation programs in decades, including support for RCPP through fiscal year 2031. usda.gov/about-usda/news/pre…

THEN vs. NOW: PROTEIN PRICES! 🇺🇸🥩 THEN: Under Biden, grocery prices soared by over 23% and set record levels of inflation. 📈 NOW: Under @POTUS, prices for key protein staples like eggs, bacon, chicken, and pork are DOWN from January 2025 levels! 📉 We've made significant progress, but there is still MUCH more work to do. We will keep fighting to bring down grocery prices and make real, nutritious food more affordable for American families! 🇺🇸

🎣 @POTUS is putting America’s fishermen FIRST! As White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett noted, supporting America’s fishing communities is a key focus of this Administration, from Maine’s lobstermen and Alaska’s fisheries to shrimpers along the Gulf of America and Atlantic coasts in states like Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. The America First Seafood Strategy brings @USDA and Secretary @HowardLutnick’s @Commercegov together to expand markets, strengthen domestic seafood processing, and support American seafood producers. Alongside @SecKennedy and @HHSGov, we’re working to promote healthy, nutritious seafood for every American. Thank you Kevin for recognizing the first ever @USDA Office of Seafood for our farmers of the sea! 🇺🇸

UNSUNG HERO 🇺🇸❤️ Today, I want to highlight someone who represents the very best of @USDA: Annette James, our Branch Chief of Printing Services. Annette became a mother as a teenager and began working at USDA in April 1987, when she was just 17 years old. Nearly 40 years later, she has dedicated her career to serving this Department and the American people with extraordinary professionalism, grace, and commitment. If you’ve ever seen a USDA program, poster, exhibit, briefing book, or printed product, chances are Annette and the incredible team in our South Building print shop helped make it happen. Randy, Michael, Marcus, and the entire Printing Services team work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure USDA’s work is presented with excellence — often on tight deadlines and always with tremendous pride. USDA works because of people like Annette and her team — dedicated public servants who may not always be in the spotlight, but whose hard work keeps this Department moving every single day. Annette and the entire print shop team: THANK YOU for everything you do for USDA and the American people. 🇺🇸
