50 million people with chronic daily pain and 19.6 million with high impact #pain - need to treat folks with an individualized patient-centered approach, non-stigmatizing - #noonesizefitsall -need to understand that “pain”doesn’t describe the multitudes of painful conditions – at Woodside, CA

In a weird way, everybody is rooting for you. When you go to a job interview, the interviewer wants you to be amazing so they don’t have to look anymore. when you go on a date, the person wants to have an amazing date with you. If you make a piece of content, people want to see amazing pieces of content and they have no problem if it’s yours. the instant you get into the mindset that people want you to do well, your entire world gets better. And you’ll be shocked to know this pattern keeps repeating in different areas of life.
Hit me with the harshest reality truth.

Had this man not found the courage to fight back after being repeatedly attacked with an axe capable of cutting through metal—while bleeding profusely—and had the presence mind to trigger the hijack/emergency code, initiate the emergency response and open the cockpit door to allow passengers to assist him, the aircraft’s subsequent dive could have had catastrophic consequences. Had that aircraft not been recovered, the geopolitical consequences for the Middle East could have been profound and potentially irreversible. Sometimes history turns on the courage, resilience and presence of mind of one person. Yes. One Indian man.

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

#9/11 #neverforget 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 25 yrs ago I was in NYC at Cornell -HSS as a fellow and saw on live TV the 2nd plane hit after an RN called me to the back to see what she was seeing. All the new yorkers immediately knew it was terrorism. I quickly cancelled clinic for the patients who had come for their visits and alerted our attendings whom all showed up anyway. We were then paged to the OR and got in our scrubs and showed to eerily quite ORs knowing tht the vast victim would not survive, As the morning dawned and it was revealed that this was a coordinated vile act to kill civilians across our country- it crystalized for me the attack was on our way. of life, freedom by foreign and domestic enemies .Brutally did these vile jihadists ram commercial flights into our towers , the pentagon, and had intent to harm the US capitol and the White House. Hero passengers flying United 93 knew what was happening stopped the next plane from hitting our gov agencies WH, and other symbolic buildings. The FAA grounded all planes. I like many others was paged into the OR for what was anticipated to be thousands more patients but they never materialized. In the ensuing days, I rounded a few cops injured from 9ll rumble and other things. we could smell the burning buildings for weeks, hear the aircraft fly overhead for weeks, see the tanks, and the candle lit vigils and signs of missing people. I also knew as many around me that this changed us as Pearl Harbor had and that Americas enemies were celebrating (foolishly) and that we would never forget.

I read the Declaration of Independence out loud today with heartfelt conviction. It is a work not just of genius, but also of a purity of soul that resonates to this very day.

A mistake by New Yorkers to vote in a communist
Communist NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who just came to this country, chose to become an American, is deciding he is the foremost authority to tell Americans what it means to be American. He has the AUDACITY, on America's 250th birthday, to call our great nation "an arena of supremacy" — a nation that "persecutes," ruled by "oligarchs." He sneers that his fellow Americans are "small, weak, unoriginal." He says “ICE is invading our streets” while he endorses and welcomes an invasion of third-world savages. Millions dream of the gift he was given. A man who spends his time burning the most American city to the ground does not deserve to be America, let alone dictate to others what it means to be an America.

We were there at this wonderful family owned restaurant & loved it. The owners themselves came out ensured we were taken care of… a true memorable moment
If you find yourself on Lake Como, our family’s favorite restaurant is Navedano, ristorantenavedano.it/en/ a family-owned, beautiful restaurant set in spectacular gardens with superb food at reasonable prices. You will love it.

As we celebrate 250 years of this extraordinary nation, let's remember the principles that make America unique. We believe that our rights are endowed by our Creator, that individual liberty matters, and that through hard work, personal responsibility, and the freedom to dream big, anyone can pursue opportunity. History also reminds us of the devastating consequences of authoritarian ideologies. Communist regimes led by figures such as Stalin, Mao Zedong and others were responsible for immense repression, famine, imprisonment, and the deaths of millions. Cuba under Fidel Castro also severely restricted political freedoms and imprisoned dissidents. Whatever our political differences, we should never lose sight of the importance of protecting individual liberty, free speech, private property, the rule of law, and limited government. These principles have allowed generations of Americans to build better lives and should never be taken for granted. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸@America250

🚨 ROBERTS + BARRETT BACKSTAB US AGAIN: Justices Roberts and Barrett just sided with the Court's liberal wing AGAIN to gut a Trump'S birthright citizenship executive order! Five votes. Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, Barrett, Jackson. Two Republican appointees crossed the aisle to hand the President a defeat on one of his signature immigration actions! The ruling guarantees birthright citizenship to children born here regardless of their parents' legal status, striking down Trump's executive order outright. Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch dissented. Kavanaugh split the difference, concurring in part and dissenting in part. Three justices stood firm. Two did not. This is the same Roberts who has spent years building a reputation as the institutionalist, the cautious one, the man who supposedly protects the Court from politics. Today he protected open borders instead. Barrett's vote stings worse. A Trump appointee, confirmed specifically to shift this Court rightward, just joined Sotomayor and Kagan to undercut the President who put her on the bench. The Fourteenth Amendment was written for freed slaves after the Civil War, not as a loophole for people who cross the border illegally and have a baby on American soil. Five justices just rewrote that history. Conservatives have two reliable votes who flinched when it mattered most.

Ro Khanna massively embarrassed himself today. Instead of discussing policy, he accused me of anti-Chinese racism. My wife is Chinese. My 4 children are half Chinese. What’s Ro Khanna? 100% clown.
Republican witness Michael Lucci called to denaturalize 1.5 million Chinese Americans born here. I called him out for his racism.
