Now this is just… weird. VicLib leader Jess Wilson - who was born on ANZAC Day 1990 - did a puff piece interview about her family being big Collingwood fans that her dad missed her birth to go watch them play on ANZAC Day… …Jess, Collingwood didn’t play on ANZAC Day in 1990

It doesn't matter how hard One Nation try to spin it. Working people know that a little bit less in your super now means a lot less in your super down the road. And that can be the difference between a dignified retirement – and dying in poverty.

One Nation is finally announcing their candidates for Victoria - and if their history is anything to go by, there’s going to be some real doozies in there.

Victorians rightfully expect the people who put their hands up to represent our community to represent the best of us - but we know that we can’t trust One Nation to respect that.

That’s why we’re asking Victorians: If you know something about a One Nation candidate, no matter how big or small, let us know at weareunion.org.au/one_nation…

The Labour Hire Authority is on Jess Wilson's jobs hit list — and One Nation won't stop them from slashing services that Victorians know are working. Victorians can't afford four years of Liberal-One Nation cuts and closures.

Don't you mean "Gary Coal"?
MEET YOUR CANDIDATE FOR EASTERN VICTORIA: Greg Hansford Greg was born in Gippsland, was educated there and brought his family up in the region. He has always been passionate about regional Victoria and its history of providing food, power, timber and mineral resources not only for Victoria, but Australia. Born to an Irish mother whose family migrated to Australia in the 1950, and an Australian father who served as a Spitfire fighter pilot in World Ward 2, Greg grew up appreciating the traditional Australian way of life. Apart from his time at Latrobe University studying to be a school teacher, Greg has always lived in Gippsland and he has witnessed the steady decline of the region, particularly in the last decade, under Labor. Greg retired in 2017 after 24 years as a school teacher. Prior to this he ran his own full time business in tourism for 6 years, operated a public address system company for local and state bands for 20 years, and was an award winning bassist in a popular local cover band for 17 years, until the Covid closures. Greg has witnessed the decline and devastation of Gippsland’s coal fired power industry and the steadily increasing cost of electricity in homes, small businesses and industry. His philosophy has always been not to passively stand by and observe a problem but to try and do something about it, if possible. “One Nation proposes the construction of coal fired HELE (High Efficiency Low Emission) power stations. These will provide our state’s households, small businesses and industries with reliable, low cost, base load electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, they produce valuable industrial byproducts eg. urea, nitrogen, ammonia, hydrogen etc.” Greg is also passionate about responsibly reopening Victoria’s native timber industry. Besides providing a valuable source of regional employment, this will reduce the risk of catastrophic bushfires and enable a return to the national production of white paper, a resource currently imported from overseas. He also wants to see a return to return to the training of apprentices in a range of trades to overcome the predicted shortages of these in the next 5 years. Greg is seeking your vote to bring about and enable real, meaningful change to occur.

Everyone deserves a home that's comfortable and safe to live in. That's why Victorian unionists fought for and won nation-leading standards for heating, cooling, and insulation in rental properties. But all that is at risk under a Jess Wilson Liberal-One Nation Government.

While Liberal MPs Tim Wilson and Andrew Bragg demand that better building standards get rolled back - Jess is nowhere to be found.

This is huge. Australia is officially the first place in the world to lock in a minimum wage for app-based delivery workers. And that's not all - from 17 August, they'll also have workplace insurance for accidents, injuries and incidents on the job.

This is what happens when workers in their unions get organised together and make employers and governments listen. Congratulations to all the @TWUVicTas members who worked hard to make this happen.
