Without addressing the deal itself, a concession I'd love is that the merged company allows trails by right on power line corridors. (or something, I'm not a lawyer. You guys know what I mean).

I have mixed feelings about this. I don't want to be spied on, but I can see how something like this could help catch bad drivers (hit-and-run drivers especially) and make roads safer.
