What a great conversation! John and I are so grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for reimagining professional development and creating meaningful learning experiences for both teachers and students.
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: Relationships and trust come first. When we empower teachers, honor their expertise, and work alongside them in classrooms, incredible things can happen.
We believe professional development should be something teachers experience WITH us, not something done TO them. It’s about collaboration, creativity, taking risks, and rediscovering the joy of teaching and learning.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our journey and the amazing work happening in our classrooms!

Today, we honor our first responders: their bravery, sacrifice, and concern for our welfare make our community a better, safer place to live. Thank you!

Museum of Human Learning PBL | Learning Through the Lens of Archaeologists!
Fifth- and sixth-grade students at Oak Grove are transforming their historic one-room schoolhouse into a living museum exploring how humans have learned and innovated throughout history.
As part of this experience, students are stepping into the role of archaeologists of human learning, examining artifacts, making observations, taking notes, and gathering evidence to uncover how learning has evolved over time.
Their discoveries will inform the exhibits they research, design, and curate for the museum.
Students aren’t simply learning about history. They’re investigating it, interpreting evidence, and using their discoveries to teach others. @TKtalksSTEAM @drbonkwcsd @WCSDEmpowers
