🏈 The NFL football season is in full swing. While most people root for teams located in their hometown or home state, others are avid fans of squads that aren't local, for one reason or another.
Here are several rappers who rep NFL teams from other cities. 🧵
50 Cent files a $6 million libel lawsuit against Rick Ross' ex, Tia Kemp, for her "highly offensive" posts about 50's teenage son, Sire.
Fif's legal team filed the complaint in federal court in California on Monday (Oct. 26). The filing accuses Kemp of libel, false light invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress for sharing multiple posts online labeling 50's teenage son as having a developmental diagnosis and claiming it was caused by his mother's sexual proclivities.
"Ms. Kemp shamelessly used the label 'on the spectrum' as a pejorative slur hurled at a child to humiliate him and his family," the filing reads. "But autism is not shameful. What is shameful is fabricating a diagnosis for a private child, inventing a sexually degrading cause for it, and broadcasting both to a mass audience in order to degrade him."
The complaint goes on to say Kemp was sent a cease-and-desist letter, but she refuses to stop making "highly offensive" comments about 50's son. 50 is seeking $2 million and asking for a jury trial.
On Monday, Tia shared a post on TikTok calling out 50 Cent for getting lawyers involved. She continued to bash 50, his son and Daphne Joy.
"You can kiss your Jew lawyers in the mouth and the judge that handle the case, for all I care, b**ch," Tia vented.
On Tuesday (Oct. 27), 50 Cent reacted to news breaking about the lawsuit.
"It’s not ok to bully minors on line, kids have killed them selves over things people have said about them," he wrote on Instagram. "That gangster granny act is not gonna work no 🏳️ white flags."
Kemp started dissing 50's son after 50 commented about her son with Rick Ross allegedly being pistol-whipped in Florida recently.
The copyright infringement lawsuit accusing Drake of stealing the chorus for his hit song "Janice STFU" has been dismissed less than two weeks after being filed.
On Tuesday (Oct. 27), producer-songwriter Aviel Calev Hirschfield filed a notice in federal court announcing that he's dismissing his complaint against Drizzy. The withdrawal has been filed without prejudice, meaning Hirschfield can refile it at a later date.
The dismissal comes 11 days after Hirschfield initially filed the complaint, which accuses Drake of taking the demo chorus Hirschfield sent him and using it for "Janice STFU" without paying or crediting Hirschfield. Drake vehemently denied the allegation when the suit was filed on Oct. 16, saying there was "not one iota of truth to these accusations."
XXL has reached out to Drake's team for comment about the latest update.

Yella Beezy's trial for the murder of Mo3 begins nearly six years after the rapper was shot and killed on a Dallas highway.
On Monday (Oct. 26), jury selection was completed. According ot CBS News, the screening process lasted more than eight hours, with eight jurors and three alternates being chosen to sit on the case.
The trial began with opening statements on Tuesday (Oct. 27). The first witness called was Mo3's mother, Nicole Noble. During her testimony, she revealed that she told investigators after the murder to look into four people as possible suspects: Yella Beezy, Trapboy Freddie, Sean Griffin, Mo3's alleged bodyguard, and Brandon Rainwater, Mo3's manager. She did not provide the reason why.
Yella Beezy, born Markies Conway, has been charged with capital murder for remuneration (murder-for-hire) in connection with Mo3's killing. Prosecutors say Beezy paid Kewon White to kill Mo3, who was gunned down on a Dallas interstate in November of 2020. In September, White was found guilty at trial of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. He is appealing the verdict and maintains that Beezy did not pay him to murder Mo3.
Yella Beezy has pleaded not guilty. He also faces life in prison without parole if convicted of capital murder, a more serious felony that carries stiffer penalties. The trial is expected to last two to three weeks.

Drake shows love to Bow Wow and Lil Wayne at his 40th birthday party in New York, crediting both for paving the way for him.
Despite reports and footage that appeared to show Future and Travis Scott turning up at Drake's 40th birthday party, DJ Akademiks claims Hendrix and La Flame never made it inside.
On Monday (Oct. 26), Ak recapped on livestream Drizzy's second New York City birthday shindig at Delilah, which Ak attended along with Sexyy Red, Loe Shimmy, Bow Wow and others. Ak insisted the video circulating showing Future, Travis and Loe Shimmy dancing to unreleased music was not recorded at Drizzy's birthday soiree.
"I think Trav did show up to the door. I don't know if Future showed up," Ak revealed. "I don't know if he didn't get in [or] the cops was wilding. But. I know he left from there and the people with him told all the b**ches outside Drake party, 'Yo, come to this other spot. This what we got going on.' And they went over there to preview that music."
