Helping people find treatment and a path to recovery means stronger families and a stronger community.
I’m honored to receive the Legislative Leadership Award from Addiction Professionals of North Carolina for my work expanding access to substance use services.
Here at home, I helped lead the push for $6 million to build Coastal Horizons’ Behavioral Health Urgent Care, giving people in crisis somewhere to turn beyond an emergency room or a jail cell.
Thank you to APNC and the professionals who do this lifesaving work every day. I’ll keep working to ensure more North Carolinians can get the care and support they need.
