BREAKING: Intel stock, $INTC, extends losses to -27% on the day, now on track for its biggest daily loss since 1974.
This puts the stock down -53% from its June 30th record high.
That’s -$400 billion of lost market cap.
It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 years since I wrote this article.
This was the introduction:
"I am not being hyperbolic. I truly believe that we are at the precipice of a world-changing paradigm being ushered in by the advent of accessible AI.
I also believe that virtually everyone on earth is either unaware, or is underestimating the impact this is going to have on our lives.
The closest thing I can think to relate this to is the impact that the internet had on humanity.
AI is going to be even more disruptive.
My goal in writing this Letter is to open people’s eyes. To help you (and to help myself, through researching) better understand what is happening, and to attempt to understand what is likely to happen.
To help prepare ourselves for an impossible-to-prepare-for future.
Our perception of reality is going to forever shift.
We’re going to bring people back from the dead.
Almost every currently conceivable job will be doable by AI in the future (note that I said will be doable, not will be done).
There’s a lot to be afraid of.
There’s also a lot to be excited by."
We were on the precipice then, we are on the VERY EDGE OF THE PRECIPICE now.
No idea what the next few years are going to bring, but I still very much feel that life as we know it is over.
Hopefully in a good way.

Wow it’s so crazy even after all these hacks we’re still holding 80k
Insane we’re still only at 79k
BTC showing incredible strength at 78k
Stocks selling off and war fears and we’re still above 77k, so bullish
Binance hack I thought for sure we’d dump harder, such a great sign we’re holding 76k
Looks like the Binance hack is for $2.5b, making it the largest hack in crypto history
Previous was Bybit at $1.5b in Feb 2025
If this is the extent of the damage it is bad but it is not black swan the world is over bad like it would be if somehow ALL of Binance was exploited
ok safe to say binance is pwned
The biggest assets were approximately:
• 1.615B USDT
• 62.6M RLUSD
• 29,934 wBETH
• 11,372 XAUt
• 6.19M UNI
• 198.4M ENA
• 7.175T PEPE
• 27.8M USD1
• 2.26M LINK
• 127,853 AAVE
about $2.5B at the explorer’s prices.
1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC.
2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction
That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14.
3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14’s ETH and token balances.
4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth).
5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool
• The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days.
• The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep.
• The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA
• That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH.
What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all.
So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow.
I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.

ok but speaking of the same mistakes let's all agree not to go down the path of a million L2s this time
To everyone asking "Why do we even need an L2 for $HYPE?"
Let's not make the same mistake that happened with $ETH where we "revolutionized finance" and retail's first experience onboarding to crypto was $100+ gas.
Elysium isn't just nice, it's necessary. Can't launch fast enough after this mass onboarding event too; insane setup for kinetiq:native and $HYPE.

"also hyperliquid isn't really growing, like the revenues are like not growing"
Rasmr explains why he decided to sell the rest of his hyperliquid:native
"I was holding hyperliquid:native for way too long, I also can not get rid of the fact that hyperliquid:native might not win the regulatory"
"Someone else that we don't even know yet will most likely beat hyperliquid:native and i just cant get over it, the risk is too high"
"Also Hyper Liquid is not really growing as a product, I checked the revenues and its not growing at all"
