.@thsottiaux pls can the team take a look 🥺 - it's happened approx 4 times today. New thread each time and delay to begin once again.
Day 12/
We nuked your codex usage to 0 and will pretend we don't see the hundreds of users reporting the same issue.
. @thsottiaux please note seeing elevated errors quite a bit now and needing to start new threads more frequently... Hope you and team can sort:

So I tested GPT-6.1 Sol on real work: 2 repos, 105 planted bugs. Find and fix what you can.
Unlike GPT-6 Sol, which was just a nerfed GPT-5.6 Terra, this one is real. The results:
- GPT-6 Astra (max): 45 for $33
- GPT-6.1 Sol (max): 44 for $6.56
- GPT-5.6 Sol (max): 43.5 for $95.35
- Opus 5.5 (max): 41.7 for $58.53
- GPT-6 Sol (max): 29.3 for $9.33
With a model like this, the 50% cut to the $200 plan doesn't matter.
n=1. More runs and results at more effort levels dropping in this thread over the next few hours 🧵
A great way to start a Thursday 😁 looking forward to testing it out @typesafeai - Ty
I had planned to use 4.7 as my daily driver, seems I'll have to wait for 4.9 at least 🙏
Replying to @itslueul
Grok 4.7 should be roughly on par with Opus 5.0, not 5.1. Better in some ways, worse in others. We need to fix multimodal performance.
Grok 4.8 will be a noticeable improvement.
Grok 4.9 is probably Astra/Fable class.
Grok 5 maybe better than anything. We shall see.
I've been using @grok more and very impressed. One of the best uses I've had recently whilst working across my devices is leaving voice mode on and discussing ideas and concepts sharing documents , ideas and engineering info live and keeping the discussion and workflow continuous and not breaking flow.. Its brilliant.
Interesting when starting a chat on chatgpt android app and then looking in Mac chatgpt app, the discussion is not shown from voice chats in the recents unless I post on the android app a message. State is then refreshed and the chat then appears in recent in mac app.
@dkundel
Ok just got 100usd in credits (heavy account) 🙌
As an existing X dev user, after connecting it initially offered 0 credits and after a delay (approx 30 mins) it resolved and updated the balance.
Disappointing but not unexpected. I doubt we'll be seeing Anthropic following this path as they are too reliant on Spacex 😅. Plan to have both subs (codex and supergrok heavy) for now but I'm moving closer to grok suite of products more each day. 4.7 gonna hit hard.
We unfortunately have decided that we cannot continue providing access to our models through Cursor and are ending our partnership. It boils down to trust and we’ve asked that this takes effect on November 12 to give you some time to plan.
Many have used the GPT models through Cursor and here are options we know should work in the future:
- We will continue to allow using your own OpenAI API key and similarly will continue to provide access through our IDE extensions for Cursor.
- We will keep working with the broadest range of tools and harnesses, some of which are OSS, but also many many closed-source ones.
We are as committed as ever to continue supporting developers and the flourishing ecosystem of tools, harnesses and products. We will also continue to invest in our own open-source initiatives and believe in broad optionality for developers.
You can read more about our decision in the blog:

Unifying grok connectors and apps (I.e. grok Vs grok bot) to a common library of plugins. Currently different offerings and a lack of consistency given to user. Thanks 👍
It's not as capable I'm finding as all the hot air being blown around on X 😁 but it's an an exciting prospect and looking forward to seeing it improve.
Grok Bot is honestly starting to scare me a little.
I run 5 businesses. here's what it does for me now:
→ opens a computer by itself and logs into apps
→ uses websites exactly like a human would
→ tests products end to end (I run this before every sponsor deal)
→ tests my mobile apps while I'm at the gym
→ researches my clients before I wake up
→ drafts content in my exact style
→ learns any workflow it watches me do ONCE
→ runs a whole team of bots under one supervisor
and it only pings me when it needs a decision.
the setup took ONE evening.
@spacexai cooked with this one. I genuinely think it's the breakout product of the year.
full setup + the exact instruction blocks in the article below.

If you want to get polished, production-ready frontend designs play around with the below prompt. GPT-5.4 is very steerable.
--------
## Frontend tasks
When doing frontend design tasks, avoid generic, overbuilt layouts.
**Use these hard rules:**
- One composition: The first viewport must read as one composition, not a dashboard (unless it's a dashboard).
- Brand first: On branded pages, the brand or product name must be a hero-level signal, not just nav text or an eyebrow. No headline should overpower the brand.
- Brand test: If the first viewport could belong to another brand after removing the nav, the branding is too weak.
- Typography: Use expressive, purposeful fonts and avoid default stacks (Inter, Roboto, Arial, system).
- Background: Don't rely on flat, single-color backgrounds; use gradients, images, or subtle patterns to build atmosphere.
- Full-bleed hero only: On landing pages and promotional surfaces, the hero image should be a dominant edge-to-edge visual plane or background by default. Do not use inset hero images, side-panel hero images, rounded media cards, tiled collages, or floating image blocks unless the existing design system clearly requires it.
- Hero budget: The first viewport should usually contain only the brand, one headline, one short supporting sentence, one CTA group, and one dominant image. Do not place stats, schedules, event listings, address blocks, promos, "this week" callouts, metadata rows, or secondary marketing content in the first viewport.
- No hero overlays: Do not place detached labels, floating badges, promo stickers, info chips, or callout boxes on top of hero media.
- Cards: Default: no cards. Never use cards in the hero. Cards are allowed only when they are the container for a user interaction. If removing a border, shadow, background, or radius does not hurt interaction or understanding, it should not be a card.
- One job per section: Each section should have one purpose, one headline, and usually one short supporting sentence.
- Real visual anchor: Imagery should show the product, place, atmosphere, or context. Decorative gradients and abstract backgrounds do not count as the main visual idea.
- Reduce clutter: Avoid pill clusters, stat strips, icon rows, boxed promos, schedule snippets, and multiple competing text blocks.
- Use motion to create presence and hierarchy, not noise. Ship at least 2-3 intentional motions for visually led work.
- Color & Look: Choose a clear visual direction; define CSS variables; avoid purple-on-white defaults. No purple bias or dark mode bias.
- Ensure the page loads properly on both desktop and mobile.
- For React code, prefer modern patterns including useEffectEvent, startTransition, and useDeferredValue when appropriate if used by the team. Do not add useMemo/useCallback by default unless already used; follow the repo's React Compiler guidance.
Exception: If working within an existing website or design system, preserve the established patterns, structure, and visual language.
This works and what a top deal 😁🤝 thanks @SPAC89

It's worth noting that Anthropic's watermarking goes way beyond what the EU Act actually requires. This doesn't need to be global, apply to code, apply at the model level, apply to edits, and so forth. Those are CHOICES.

Cold Sunday, cozy vibes, and my @SuiPlay in hand while diving into @DremicaOfficial.
Big thanks to my friend at Wonyi for putting me on.
This is exactly the kind of gaming experience I love to see building on Sui.
