i don’t know how so many people are so dedicated to negativity in this space. i understand wanting to defend hs but it really gets to a point around here. some things brought to my tl aren’t even a widely known thing, you’re just bringing attention to a tweet with like three likes from an account with little to no followers. of course i want to do whatever i can to uplift hs but i also know focusing more on the negativity isn’t doing him any favors. i have adopted the mindset that the better thing to do than give these people attention, is to write loving things about him and to him because those posts are more meaningful. unfortunately there’s always going to be someone hating. there’s nothing we can do about that. so instead of giving them center stage and the spotlight, let’s pour out all of our positivity for him instead. maybe make those things a little harder for us to see and even more importantly, him, as he’s made it clear he does hang around our spaces and he does see things. it just stinks that 99% of the time when i go to my tl anymore it’s all so hateful which is why i’ve been here a little less. idk idk idk
