I’m self taught and built/shipped my own products and contributed to plenty of codebases, but today highlighted an area I want to improve:
Debugging and fault finding in live production environments.
It’s hard to get deep experience with that unless you’re working alongside a team maintaining a live product or service.
There’s no shame in admitting where you can improve. I just want to keep learning and become a better engineer.
I’m happy to contribute for free to get that experience. I learn fast, ask a lot of questions and I’m keen to get involved.
