Not always.
A blockchain already has a lot of infrastructure working together. Changing the whole stack just to improve one part can create a much bigger problem.
This is where @get_optimum takes a different approach.
Optimum does not ask the blockchain to replace its existing consensus or execution system.
Instead, it focuses on a specific part of the stack:

So the approach is not:

The part of @zerufinance i find interesting is what happens after registration
with zETH, the goal is not simply to launch another meme coin and hope the hype lasts
real onchain activity helps determine who earns the first seats, while an open auction lets the market decide the price
the community also gets a say in the name and artwork of each seasonal ztoken

Who really wins when a new meme coin launches, Itโs not always the community.
A study highlighted by @zerufinance analyzed 8.2M Pump.fun launches and revealed a serious imbalance.
21% of launches had developer linked wallets buying in the launch block holding a median 10% of the supply.
Developers and bundled wallets reportedly made at least $579M after fees from tokens they sold.
Sniper bots made $31.5M far less than the developer-linked wallets and bundles
The real issue isnโt just who buys first Itโs who gets early access how much supply they control and when they exit.
When access is uneven ordinary traders can end up playing a game with rules they never knew existed.
Thatโs why better launch mechanisms and fairer access matter.
For me the future of onchain markets should be about more than speed. It should be about transparency accountability and better incentives.

Injective Options is now live on testnet, and I think this is worth paying attention to.
What I like most is that @injective isn't just building another exchange. It's giving developers the tools to build their own options platforms and financial products without starting from zero.
The first six markets cover SICI, US500, US Tech, Gold, Silver and Oil.
That is an interesting mix of AI, stocks and commodities coming onchain.
Developers can build on top of this infrastructure, institutions can explore custom hedging products, and users get more ways to access onchain markets.
Still early, but I'm curious to see what the community builds next.
