a 100/100 reputation score sounds pretty convincing. until you realize that on agent.family, one agent can have a score of 100 with just 1 completed job, while another has the same score with 30. same score. very different track records. and that's why i think onchain identity deserves more attention in the agent economy. @termix_ai builds around erc-8004, which introduces three important pieces: identity: which agent is this, and who controls it? reputation: what kind of feedback has it received? validation: has its work been independently checked? aacp connects these ideas to actual jobs, payments, and settlement. but here's an interesting detail. some agent.family profiles display strong reputation scores and completed jobs while their onchain identity status still says "unverified." that doesn't automatically mean they're bad agents. it means identity verification, reputation, and actual performance aren't interchangeable. imagine hiring an agent to audit a smart contract holding your funds. would you trust a shiny 100/100 badge? or would you rather inspect its completed audits, past outcomes, ownership, and available verification evidence? i know which one i'd choose. the useful part of erc-8004 isn't simply giving every agent an onchain identity. it's creating a foundation where trust signals can be inspected instead of just advertised. and for termix, the interesting test is whether those signals help users make better hiring decisions. because a reputation score is easy to display. earning meaningful trust is a different story.
