Not a lot of people realize this until it’s too late.
You grind for “freedom” but forget to live freely along the way.
Make your family and close people happy. Travel, pray, enjoy,...
But stay focused & don’t lose your drive.
It’s all about balance. Once you got it, you become the happiest man on earth.
everyone talks about building wealth for "one day"
but you're living right now
the goal isn't to sacrifice everything today for some future version of yourself
the goal is to build wealth WHILE actually living
take profits when they let you sleep at night
take profits when they can pay for real experiences
wealth that comes at the cost of your present life isn't wealth
it's just a different kind of poverty
You always just see wins but; These last 2 years have been the worst for me:
- Lost all my hard earned money - Low 6 figures (literally grinded 24/7 for 2 yrs to earn that)
- Lost my marketing agency and left Web3 (Biggest mistake)
- Fell into a hard depression
Now, I'm starting again from 0 or I guess not completely zero bcs I still have my x acc (this) which has a good following from 2022-2023 but I have to get engagement back up again.
Wish me luck!
One of the OG builders in this space… I really respect your consistency bro 🙌
For some reasons I unfortunately couldn’t be much active the past 24 months, but every time I checked CT or Discord, you were still grinding.
**That hard work is paying off now, and you truly deserve it. **
I had a similar note written back in 2022 when I dropped out of college to go all-in on entrepreneurship. 2 years after(eo 2023), I hit most of those goals and made my mother & family proud.
I showed that paper to my mother and told her that I made it which was the best feeling in the world... literally!
A few months later though, I lost everything, fell into depression, and even stepped away from Web3...
Now I’m starting from 0 again, but with the mindset of a man who’s hungrier than the younger Ali. Seeing your journey gives me energy and motivation to keep going, even when I’m not sure if I’ll make it back 🫰
PS: still waiting for our call haha and can't wait to connect with you again. Much love Safwan 🤍
Found this while moving houses.
A note I wrote on 1/1/2023 about my life mission.
“My mission in life is to empower individuals to reach their full potential and make a lasting positive impact on their lives. I strive to help people grow, improve, and become healthier, wealthier, smarter, and better versions of themselves. Starting with my family, partner, friends, and those around me. I will focus on utilizing technology, specifically within the realm of Web3, to achieve my mission. My ultimate goal is to leave a lasting legacy, where people will say ‘Safwan walked here’ in a positive light” - Safwan aka SafZ (1/1/2023) 🖊️
You might find it cringe.
But if you know me. This is what I do. This is who I am.
I am for the people, and my people for me.
2023 Safwan (SafZ) would be proud of what @0xAlphaGEMs became 💎
Couldn’t have done it without the people around me, my team, my friends, my lovely community 💜
Always:
- Help without expectations.
- Always give first.
- Always give more than you get.
I stress this to my team and the people around me.
This is the cost of having such a mission:
- Some will walk over you and move on.
- Some will abuse it
- Some will misjudge you & underestimate you.
That's normal. Never stop giving.
A few will stick, and that’s worth it all. Those few are why I keep going 🙏
My advice to you:
"You go further in life by having a clear mission.
Print it. Read it over and over until it becomes you.
Put it on your phone background if you have to.
Make it a living document. Stick to it, & adjust when needed.
Empower. Build. Leave a mark."
Love 💜

So imo, it’s all about understanding where you can make the most impact with the resources at hand.
A protocol may hire me for marketing not just based on my personal Twitter activity but because I have the right skills, experience, and connections to leverage a 6-7 figure marketing budget effectively. When it comes to promoting a protocol, the resources are completely different. With the right budget, you can drive growth, attention, and engagement quickly, optimizing for scalable results.
On the other hand, building your personal brand organically is a much slower process. It requires a lot of time and effort (Activity consistency, attend events, meeting, ect...) especially when you’re trying to grow with limited resources.
I’ve had my personal Twitter inactive for a while, and it’s not surprising that my engagement has been low. But I’ve consistently grown project to millions of impressions, hundreds of thousands of followers & interactions.
$DOOD up around 45% last 24 hours - almost 100% last 30 days.
Generational L for me being AFK the past 24 months but hey… I’m still an OG. OG's Must Be Rewarded.
Imo, teams need to “brand” their product around where the current demand and liquidity is.
Every cycle has its own entry point. Five years ago, no matter if you were building AI, DeFi, or gaming, the easiest way to raise was through an NFT sale — because that’s where the liquidity was. Without going through NFTs, most projects couldn’t get traction or raise successfully.
But things have changed. NFTs today are no longer the revenue model — they work best for what they were meant for: decentralization, community building, culture, and engagement (pfps, identity, access, etc.).
That’s why what Hyperliquid did makes sense. They didn’t need to rely on an NFT mint to raise funds — they already had real revenue, so they used NFTs for their core value: rewarding early supporters and building community.
The issue now is that too many teams are still treating NFTs as a fundraising mechanism. If your whole survival depends on the success of a drop, you’re setting yourself up to fail. That’s not the NFT market we had 3+ years ago, and it’s not coming back in the same way.
Projects need to focus on generating sustainable revenue first, and only then use NFTs as an amplification layer — not the other way around. Otherwise, ngmi.
every nft project needs to take this advice:
notice how hyperliquid didn't raise funds from the hypurr nfts?
that's because it was airdropped to their EARLY supporters.
no mint. no price tag. just pure "here you go, thanks for supporting."
the issue with a lot of nft projects nowadays is that they're trying to raise funds by "extracting" from their community. this is what typically leads to:
• floor price wars
• a ghost town post-mint
• fake support (only in it to flip)
instead, teams that focus on:
• generating revenue first (proof of cash flow)
• building a likeable, usable platform (PMF)
• rewarding their early supporters (foundation)
is how you outlast your competition.
tldr: build first, reward early users, success will naturally come.
In 2023, I spent 1eth to mint this. +$4k USD today. A rug amongst many.
Just claimed my 2 @SteadyStackNFT Legends 🫡
Always glad to invest in projects with a long-term vision and genuine value propositions!
Much respect to @zanshake @readyplayerh @Beau11007 🙌
Yeah, I’ve got a lot of respect for you, Tma. You never lost your principles — and that’s rare. Getting rich is one thing, but getting rich while keeping your values intact is another level.
I’ve seen a lot of people get rich by giving their principles away or selling their values just to make money. But when you build wealth the hard way, without compromising on what’s right, that’s where the real satisfaction is.
You could’ve easily made 6-7 figures chasing meme coins like everyone else, but you stuck to what you believed in.
Personally, as a Muslim, I’d rather be broke than earn a dollar in an unethical or "haram" way. I think we see eye-to-eye on that, and that’s why I respect your journey so much.
If anyone has any concerns about why funkari gets huge allocations or I get allocations then here’s your simple explanation.
When 99 percent of you were chasing the cabal and making them rich off memecoins and virtuals. We were one of the only few groups providing constant liquidity to your illiquid jpegs
We were the ones to hop on free advisory calls for teams so they have the right support to launch: the right partners to launch with. We did all of this in exchange for just whitelists when whitelists weren’t even profitable.
I swept nft collections when the entire timeline was shitting nfts. I helped brands scale up for free of cost. Helping them make the right connections to grow.
We did all of this while people were making six figures off memecoins. We dabbled in coins but we stayed true to our core that was NFTs.
So yeah, if you’re wondering why we get opportunities. We get them because we are a group of battle tested NFT lovers who don’t just flip an asset for 10 dollars profit 5 minutes after minting out.

The great web3 lie is that you need the twitter community to believe in your company to succeed.
not true.
Here's a web3 company called @kandyland_io and they have NFTs.
NFT price is not equal to success
