Saying there’s no reason to buy Bitcoin because anyone can create a cryptocurrency is like saying there’s no reason to learn English because anyone can invent a language.

Everyone is blaming Pumpfun for destroying memecoins, but I think we're ignoring a much bigger part of the problem I've been in this space since 2019 and witnessed the best and worst times in the trenches The first thing people point to when criticizing Pumpfun is that it destroyed memecoins But that isn't entirely true We had runners like PNUT, MOODENG, FARTCOIN, ZEREBRO and GOAT, just to name a few So clearly, the existence of Pumpfun alone isn't what stopped memecoins from producing massive runners It's the culture of mass extraction we've continued to support on Solana PAID is a good example of what I'm talking about We've created a system where enormous amounts of money flow toward a relatively small group of people, while the communities generating that value struggle to sustain themselves On top of that, we gave just 25 developers the opportunity to extract another $130M from this space Imagine what even a fraction of that money could have done if it went back into liquidity, supporting communities and building sustainable projects Instead, we keep rewarding the same behavior and wonder why the entire crypto space is getting worse So yes, Pumpfun and the culture it helped create are a big part of the problem But so are the people who continue using and supporting the system they complain about I'm not joining any boycott movement I'd rather see people start questioning where their money goes and what kind of behavior they're rewarding Because ultimately, we're all participants in this market We can't keep rewarding extraction and then act surprised when the entire market becomes extractive

wow cftc regulated us perps on hyperliquid is already here this fast
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts. HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

We owe you an apology. On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe. Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices). Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords. We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers. Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us. NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself. A detailed report is coming soon. Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email [email protected]. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance. Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.
