here goes a little story around my first POAP october 2021, Liscon. one of the first international events after a year of travel restrictions. and the state of crypto? ETH is over $4k, DAI mcap is headed to ATH, Aave TVL is going parabolic. life is good and everyone building anything on Ethereum is in Lisbon and the vibes are i m m a c u l a t e now, there was @miliboii & me working the marketing for DFS and @ncerovac calls up - "hey wanna do a party with @TenderlyApp? I know a place" the place was LuxFragil. and we made a party. (tbf it was mostly Nemo's work, he's really good at that) that party, man... underground DJs, lightshow artists. free drinks ofc. and the guest list. everyone came I remember @StaniKulechov and @mzeller at the door, side by side, with 10 more people from Aave. half of Maker mafia (shoutout @Davidutro & @nanexcool, miss u guys). at one point I remember @owocki just vibing on the dance floor for me this was the first time meeting all of these people I've been chatting and working with for two years, and it was such a major high it really felt like all the stars aligned, even though I'm sure it was just another side event for some (or most) plus, you remember how crypto was back then, the energy was very 'building towards one same goal' and the community was still pretty tight-knit that was the story - thanks for reading (and lysm if you were there!) oh, and thank you @dmihal for making Liscon happen in '21🫶 and finally thank you @izonline for the onchain memories, loved minting POAPs in those years
