Well done Vancouver! This is definitely a step in the right direction! #lesswaste
Time to say goodbye to the plastic foam containers that you order your takeout food in — at least if you're in Vancouver. The city has banned foam plates, cups, bowls, trays, cartons and containers. Do you think this ban is a step in the right direction? ow.ly/GfSm50xOhwX

#plastic is a reusable #resource, let’s reuse and recycle it, reducing use of plastic wherever it’s not necessary is important, however, it is equally important to #recycle what is already there.

#10000changes party tips: Our Christmas party wasn’t totally #PlasticFree this year but we used paper condiment cups for Jell-O shots, and our fabulous caterer @BorealChef provided bamboo plates and compostable utensils. @10000Changes

It’s no secret the holidays can be unnecessarily wasteful. In an effort to reduce that, I’ve got some easy and reusable gift-wrapping ideas for you! These took me no time at all, are made with things I had at home and can be reused once opened! thefamilygraham.com/family-g…

So cute
Recently, @Gap launched their "Upcycled Puffer" jacket made from 40 discarded plastic bottles. It's also made with 100% recycled fill, shell and lining (although the buttons, zippers and trims aren't from recycled materials yet). Would you consider purchasing one? #10000changes

It is a #privilege to be featured on 10,000 Changes for our #recycling #technology. They encourage a new way of thinking of the 3 R's of recycling - #Refuse, #Replace, #Reimagine. We certainly re imagined the recycling process for post-consumer #plastic.
Have you heard of sustainable tech company Omachron? They see plastic as a resource rather than waste because they've invented a machine to turn plastic into new goods that can be continuously recycled and remade! Take a look now at this Ontario invention: ow.ly/Sa4j50x6iSO
