With the heat wave continuing we urge you to use extreme caution when using the trails in Spruce Woods Park. Trust us, spirit sands is more enjoyable in moderate temps #staysafe
Keep cool, stay hydrated. Hike trails during early mornings only.
We recommend postponing any plans to hike the Spirit Sands in Spruce Woods Provincial Park during heat advisories – the sands can be well over 10 degrees warmer than the surrounding temperature.
