What qualifies a software as "anti-fascist"?
Hell, for that matter, what qualifies software as "fascist"?
Replacing Clippy with Mussolini?
“F**k open source”
“what we need is free software … which goes against all hierarchies: anti-fascist, feminist, anti-racist, Igbtq+ inclusive, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, anti-genai, etc.”
This statement has been liked, “boosted”, or otherwise positively endorsed by the following leaders within Open Source:

Acabo de ver a un tío en un bar con esta bandera en su camisa, cada vez la extrema derecha tiene menos vergüenza a llevar sus banderas.
In downtown LA around 1998 in Little Tokyo there were a few stores that rented VHS OVAs so I rented the Rayearth OVAs.
Of course the weren't dubbed or subtitled but back in those days you took what you could get and you liked it.
Anyway I went to the bodega (or whatever you call a dirty convenience store run by an illegal mexican in downtown LA) and bought like four 32 ounce bottles of Miller High Life and was wasted and passed out before I could finish the third OVA episode, and when I woke up my hangover was so intense that I didn't even want to bother.
So I returned the tapes later that day after my hangover subsided.

Bluesky is a melting pot of abject stupidity, Marxist allegiance, poor judgment, bitterness over failed careers and a deep belief that dissenting opinions are never to be tolerated. This toxic combo results in a steaming cesspool of fetid mental anguish coupled with unsuppressed expressions of impending violence for anyone who dares to disagree with their dysfunctional orthodoxies.
Bluesky is the true evil of the Left laid bare for all to see.

🇺🇸 WAMBI COOK — HE REFUSED TO LEAVE HIS BROTHER BEHIND
In Vietnam, Wambi Cook served as a paratrooper with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade—the legendary Sky Soldiers. During some of the fiercest fighting around Dak To, Cook found himself in a fight where men were wounded, ammunition was running low, and the enemy kept pressing the attack.
Cook was wounded, yet he stayed in the fight. When two medics were badly wounded, Cook refused to abandon them. One of those medics was Rick Patterson, who was critically wounded but ultimately survived.
Reinforcements could not immediately reach Cook's position. His fellow soldiers, themselves pinned down on higher ground, did what they could—they rolled grenades down to him. Cook used those grenades to defend his position while continuing to protect the wounded.
Then came the moment that says everything about the man. He went back for the wounded medic. Under fire, Cook helped get him out. That's what the word brotherhood means.
It isn't just a word veterans throw around. It is knowing that when everything has gone to hell, someone is willing to risk his own life to make sure you are not left behind.
Wambi Cook survived Vietnam and went on to help preserve the stories and memories of the men of the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
His story will also be featured in Killing Charlie, a forthcoming book preserving the combat experiences of Vietnam veterans. We owe men like Wambi Cook more than a thank-you.

No, they're not.
Squad leaders, sure. An example to spotlight for the rest of the platoon, sure.
DIs keeping an eye out for officer material in enlisted boot? That's ridiculous and that's the kindest way I can put it. USMC DIs who run the Island and MCRDSD don't have time for that sort of thing. They just don't, and any Marine with a DI ribbon will tell you as much.
Which isn't to say that USMC DIs aren't used for that specific purpose, because they are -- at Officer Candidate School and to an extent, Navy officer training.
In order to become an officer in the USMC, you have to pass muster with our enlisted staff at OCS -- who are all almost exclusively SNCOs doing their second Drill Instructor 3-year tour.
