I’m usually even keeled. I try to minimize knee jerk reactions and hyperbole… But yesterday was a tipping point. We are at a point where Beck has to be relieved of his duties by the end of this weekend. Anything else is unacceptable. Straight up.

Zach Marshall didn’t tell one lie.
Mistakes are inherent when playing freshman. It’s 3rd & 7 after that terrible 2nd down play call. I don’t know how Tommy concluded that JJ was the right throw when Marsh is 1 on 1 with the safety with inside leverage. But…when you never let the QB attempt the deep ball, they’re bound to not see it.

The more I think about that goal line play call, the more I realize… That play call wasn’t made for the betterment of the team’s success. That was an arrogant, selfish, self serving decision. Devaluing a “boring sneak” because it wouldn’t have his fingerprints all over it.

We had 57 rushing yards today.

Should’ve known something wasn’t right as soon as the all maize uniforms got resurrected.

This looks like the kind of throw you make when your OC is in your ear telling you where to go with that ball just like Zach Mar…. Man, nevermind.
I can’t. I just fucking can’t.

USC with a pretty blatant throat slash celebration that goes unflagged

Don’t fall victim to revisionist history Things are obviously bad right now but let’s also not pretend that Sherrone was Don Shula or something either Run game was better but there were plenty of times that he looked completely out his depth (talking strictly football issues)

For the millionth time, QBs need to stop baseball sliding It’s far and away the most dangerous way to down yourself

We are dead last in the country in 10+ yard gains. And second to last in the country in 20+ yard gains. Think about that for a second…

That’s not roughing the kicker 🤣

10 second run off because the kicker helmet had his helmet ripped off and they picked up the flag? Sure, that’s checks out.

We should’ve known early on when we couldn’t run the ball (and still can’t). If you can’t run the ball at Michigan, that’s a huge indictment against you as a coach.

What happened?! It’s been night and day Bryce almost had 300 yards vs. Iowa Now it looks like a forward pass is a foreign concept to whoever is under center
Say what you want about how Iowa’s defense ranks nationally *this year* but they traditionally, at the very least, have a solid defense We moved the ball. Scored. Threw. Struggled to run but still. Our offense looked competent Since that game, our offense has fallen off a cliff

I also don’t want to hear anything about the “offense finding it’s stride” next week if it does anything competent against a awful Rutgers defense It’s going to take something a lot more significant to sway my opinion at this point

It’s just bad football Did I think we’d win every game? No. But we aren’t even fun, entertaining, or exciting to watch. It’s just the worst football you’ve ever seen for four hours Watching a Michigan game with no confidence we can score ONE TD is truly sad

Have to be more aggressive on that final drive & win in regulation OT is literally all red zone offense An area where Michigan’s offense struggles mightily Ran a bunch of plays inside the 10 and not one was a fade / jump ball to JJ Only long developing plays that fool no one

Meanwhile, our injury report looks like a god damn phone book every week
