We are saddened by the passing of former Tuskegee airman brig Gen Charles McGee
“A life well lived,” is an understatement as applied to Brig. Gen. Charles McGee. As a #TuskegeeAirman & combat aviator with 409 missions, his years in uniform were nothing shy of heroic, & his example of integrity, service & excellence endures. youtu.be/9T_ZJGxZaKw

“Leadership is solving problems. The day your Soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or conclude you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership”

Colin Powell was a remarkable leader, trailblazer & mentor. I was tremendously honored when he called after my confirmation to congratulate and mentor me as I prepared to become CSAF 22. We are forever indebted to him for his selfless service. My condolences to the Powell family.
