Today, we’re announcing our $5.3M seed round, led by CIV.
There is a rare window right now to redefine how some of the world’s most legacy software gets rebuilt across banks, airlines, governments, and large enterprises.
For decades, mainframe modernization has been a massive human undertaking: multi-year programs, tens of millions of dollars, and large teams reconstructing, rebuilding, and verifying systems that nobody fully understands anymore.
We started Hypercubic with a simple thesis: mainframe modernization should become a repeatable, software-driven process rather than a bespoke human undertaking.
Over the past year, we’ve made several breakthroughs in an attempt to build the most capable mainframe modernization platform one that can understand, rebuild, and verify critical systems at high velocity.
We’re already seeing with customers how dramatically parts of the modernization lifecycle can be compressed. The industry is not used to the speed we now know is possible.
Today, this work remains fundamentally a human labor problem. We think it can become a computational problem instead.
@aayush_naik and I are building a small, high-caliber team to go after this. If this problem excites you, please reach out, we’re hiring exceptional people across the team!

Neuramill has been building quietly.
We reject the idea that AI’s purpose is automation alone. It's greater than that, its amplification.
Before AI can transform American manufacturing, it must learn from the people who built it.
Randy has spent 35 years as a machinist, helping build the backbone of American industry. He watched CNC rise, manufacturing move overseas, and generations of hard-won knowledge begin to disappear.
We are building to honor the people who built American manufacturing to preserve their expertise, and compound generations of knowledge.
Because America must own its manufacturing intelligence.
Randy’s story, coming soon.

Pickleball with @12founders !
What an experience playing with incredible people who are challenging the frontier of AI and founders building the technology that will soon be adapted by all the companies we recognize in the bay.
I am deeply touched by how humbly everyone carried themselves in the court and beyond.
Thank you for bringing everyone together so thoughtfully Denis!
This weekend we rounded up 25 founders for a day of supercar racing, and of course we rolled up in style on the Corgi bus
Thank you Channl AI, @12founders, @PilotHQ, @rhobusiness, & @deel
For robotics researchers, evaluation can be the slowest part of their research loop. Manifold makes it the fastest.
Introducing Manifold. The platform for accelerating robotics research with failure analysis that explains itself.
A month of experiments in a week.
Simulate a thousand scenarios in 30 minutes.
Dense labels on every atomic sub-goal and action.
Agents that cluster failure modes across every rollout.
The robotics research loop that moves at the speed of compute.
One eval harness for every benchmark, simulator, or world model. Native support for @NVIDIA’s Isaac Lab Arena.

turns out founders drive go-karts similar to how they run startups
aggressively, sometimes into the walls, no fear
sf founders are statistically the worst people you could hand a Ferrari to
overconfident. allergic to instructions. the rules are for others
so together with @barrysuny on aug 7 we’re giving 25 of them supercars at sonoma raceway to see what happens

twisted ankles, blisters, cramps every 10 minutes - last 2 miles were freaking brutal
17 hrs / 20 miles / 6500 ft elevation gain / bunch of die hard bay area founders / yosemite
mosh pits, mushrooms and motorcycles
the average founder at our go karting nights is not average lol
guy who wrote a dozen books on relationships and advised disney rides motorcycles fast.
one who built a gtm prediction engine spends weekends in mosh pits.
another flew in doing mushroom supplements - wasn't in AI at all (thank god!)
funny how none of it comes up until everyone stops talking about their startup
#gokarting
Pickleball + dinner on Treasure Island?
YES!
@12founders x @Fondocom are bringing 12 founders together for a little adventure tonight.
