Another trial we are following today involves Secwepemc land defenders accused of violating the TMX injunction + damaging corporate property, e.g. surveillance equipment, monitoring their lives at Blue River camp. @Weasel_Woman argues she cannot be trespassing on her unceded land
Breaking exclusive footage in Aj+ doc shows #TransMountain attacking & assaulting Indigenous female land defender Mayuk Manuel @Weasel_Woman daughter of acclaimed author Arthur Manuel & granddaughter of Dr Grand Chief George Manuel, as she continues the legacy to fight for land.

We will be listening in on court today to hear this decision. Dinï ze’ Dsta’hyl is the highest ranking person to be charged for violating the CGL injunction. At his hearing, he argued that it was the injunction that was a violation of Wet’suwet’en law.
Tomorrow at 9:30am pst Dinï ze’ Dsta’hyl will hear the verdict for the criminal contempt charges he is facing for upholding Wet’suwet’en ‘anuk niwh ‘iten (law). #WetsuwetenLandWetsuwetenLaw

Pipeline construction, now, near the Coquihalla. Sign indicates this used to be an important area for wildlife. Nature & wildlife sacrificed for #oilandgas which cause more #globalwarming. @dogwoodbc @HopeStandard @CWF_FCF @Liv_F @1308Trees @ttakaro @CanadianPress @CTVVancouver

Congrats to the Village of Slocan! They are the fifth municipality in BC – and the first in BC's interior – to commit to join a class action lawsuit against Big Oil. suebigoil.ca/slocan-council-…

"It's Fasken, who's askin'?" Looks like we got some raw footage of RCMP C-IRG Gold Commander getting direction from his bosses over at CGL's law firm.

This is pretty disgusting. Given it’s reconciliation month, given the 215 children whose graves were found at Secwépemc. I imagine they will protest- this is a sacred site. Reconciliation is a BULLSHIT facade for the feds. thestar.com/business/regulat… thestar.com/business/regulat…

Wet’su’wet’en Hereditary Chiefs Woos & Namoks (seen behind Winona Laduke-purple t-shirt) are in NYC right now at the march to end fossil fuels. The Wet’su’wet’en Hereditary leaders have said ‘no’ to the @TransCanada owned CGL pipeline being constructed in their unceded territories & threatening the health of their Yintah & future. 📸 Kat Coiro

Photo courtesy of @CTVNews from 2019 showing stockpiled pipe. TMX stockpiled them near Hope BC, Kamloops & Vavenby. The Hope site was flooded during the 2021 November floods. The pipe manufacturer guaranteed the coating for 12 months, not years. @dogwoodbc @Liv_F @skyerich_luna
