They say they were working about 10 feet from the utility markings so I'm sure that is already being looked at...who entered the NJ 811 ticket, what the ticket says for the work being performed and where, if it was mapped correctly...right on down to who the locator was that went out there and did the locate and made those markings.
It's been reported that it was a Verizon line and last I knew, Verizon did their own locates. It'll be interesting to see what comes out.
