Big goverment RINOs did indeed vote to Launch this program. The Post-Liberal big goverment right wants to relocate these funds to ensure that Christian families become addicted to the same big goverment welfare that destroyed countless families before them. The fastest way to ensure permanence of any goverment program is to make sure that people who would rather see it ended, end up on the program. Nobody who is saying "Id rather cut it, but this is a good idea" will acknowledge this reality of entitlement addiction. They wont look at the reality that social security has created. You will never get meaningful reform or the ending of any program once that program sinks its teeth into people. Don't make the mistake of thinking that right wing Christians will be immune to such addiction. The radical left knows perfectly well that even moderate democrats will vote for the most insane leftists if they can sell them on the idea that the republican party wants to end their entitlement benefits. This is how they've created a goverment that charges to the left at full speed despite many of the social issues being 70/30 and 80/20. People will accept almost anything so long as their addiction to entitlements are met.
