I'm a straight man so never played either and truthfully really don'tcare either way, but surely its harder to hit something coming at you at 90mph that takes an unpredictable bounce 1-2 meters in front of you than it is to hit something travelling 100mph in a straight line.

Cricket balls swing, seam, spin, bounce unevenly etc and with a cricket pitch you literally don’t know what’s going to happen. Not to mention the only one with gloves in cricket is the wicketkeeper. Cricket is the harder sport.
