A halloween special is next up for the Jets as we travel to Spelthorne Sports this saturday. With a week's break from action, we are looking to get right back to it. Spelthorne currently sit one point above us in the league, and it looks set to be a battle between both teams.

Your @CarlsbergUK Man Of The Match from our 2-0 win over Buntingford Town in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy goes to Lucio Cappuccini. Lucio was consistent throughout the entire game and helped us finish the game with a well deserved clean sheet. Well done Lucio 👏

Of all the people I met in local sports during my two stints at the Watford Observer, none worked harder, more selflessly and completely altruistically than John Elliott for @1972Jets . Well done mate, and continued success to you.

What fantastic and well deserved news this is for the amazing @1972Jets and John. And how marvellous to coincide with the launch of the poppy appeal for a club that truly honours our Armed Forces.

Personally delighted for you, John, but also pleased for everyone else at the club who has put in the hard work to help make this happen.

After Tuesday night's heartbreaking defeat to Brook House, we can now enjoy a break from league action as we host @BuntTownFC in the Herts FA Senior Centenary Trophy. Will you be supporting the lads as they start their cup journey?
