Now THIS is Jersey pride!
As a former high school football player, I know the power of teamwork, the thrill of victory, and the pride of leaving it all on the field.
But what these extraordinary young people in Farmingdale, New Jersey, have done is a different kind of victory.
A football field filled with yellow bags of food for families in need. A powerful demonstration of teamwork, generosity, kindness, and service.
There have surely been great plays, big touchdowns, and unforgettable victories on this field. But this may be one of its greatest wins.
Because the true measure of a team isn’t just how many points it scores, but how many lives it touches. And the greatest victories aren’t always on the scoreboard. They’re in the lives we lift and the people we serve.
I’m so proud of these young people. And I’m proud they’re Jersey!
Thank you to everyone in Farmingdale who made this possible, especially these young heroes who truly delivered.
May we see more of this spirit.
May we all be more of this spirit.

There’s NO CONNECTION between using credit cards and voting! Many registered active voters had to fill out PROVISIONAL BALLOTS!

Jones: In my home state of Georgia, there have been 83 governors since its creation back in the 1700s. All 83 were white men until Tuesday.
Prior to this Tuesday, there had only been three elected Black governors in American history in over 200 years. And in one night, five were elected.
