Thanks to @LittlehamptonFS for this mornings joint water rescue exercise. Never enter the water to try and help a person or animal - always call 999 and use any water rescue equipment if it is available #BeWaterAware

A snippet of our virtual fire station tour. The crew have been working hard to create a video to send out to schools to ensure we continue to interact and educate young people on fire safety and show them what we do. Yesterday we had our first online Q&A with 3x year 5 classes🙂

Emergency responders have had to face many difficult and challenging circumstances throughout the pandemic. This has had an impact on their mental health. That’s why we’re bringing the Blue Light programme back to support them 🚔🚒🚑

I'm so proud of Steve, Matthew and Eloise doing this challenge. Steve bravely shared his own experiences of homelessness and his courage really touched me. Breaking down the stigma, bit by bit. #ProudToServe

💷 No money ❌ 🥘 No food ❌ 🏠 No shelter ❌ Just three nights under the stars, exposed to the elements - that's the challenge facing two of our firefighters. It's all in aid of @RBLI in the fight against homelessness. More here 👇 westsussex.gov.uk/news/sleep…

It's extremely windy around the coast this week. Large breaking waves can easily sweep you off your feet and out to sea, so stay well back from stormy seas. In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
