Yah Allah, forgive us for the days we fall short, guide us when we feel lost,
and give us the courage to do what is right even when it is difficult.
Make us a source of goodness in the lives of others, and let our lives be pleasing to You.
Amin.

MY NAME IS VICTOR, AND MY STORY IS NOT OVER. ❤️🙏*
I write this not to seek pity or sympathy, but to remind someone that no matter how difficult life becomes, your story is not over until God says it is.
I was born on the 18th of March. My first 15 days were a battle for survival. Eight drips, a pint of blood, 24 injections, and measles. When I survived, my father named me Victor because he believed I had conquered a battle many children might not survive.
My parents, a teacher and a judiciary staff member, sacrificed their modest income to educate all their children to university degree level. They taught me to love, sacrifice, and never forget my roots.
Then life changed.
Since 2021, I have lost loved ones, battled depression, and reached a point where I attempted suicide. In 2024, I lost a friend for all seasons. In 2025, I lost my boss.
I have sold properties, struggled financially, accumulated debts I am determined to repay, and travelled through different states since 2021, searching for stability and a fresh start.
I met a woman in Kano who has stood by me. When she recently fell ill, I spent what I had worked so hard to build on her medical expenses and borrowed more to care for her. I am still repaying those loans.
But my greatest pain is not always financial. It is loneliness.
Sometimes, I pick up my phone to call someone I love, only to remember they are gone. I miss having people to lean on, people whose voices once made life feel like home.
I am tired, but I am not finished. I am hurting, but I am still hoping. I have lost so much, but I refuse to lose faith in tomorrow.
My name is Victor. I survived when I was barely 15 days old. Today, I am still fighting battles nobody sees, rebuilding a life that has been broken in many places, and trusting God with the chapters I do not yet understand.
I may not be where I want to be. My healing is incomplete, my struggles are real, and my journey is far from over.
But I am still here.
I was named Victor because I survived the beginning. I refuse to let the struggles in the middle determine how my story ends.
Until God says it is over, I will keep turning the pages.🙏❤️
