Congrats to all the Die Hard MVC fans. Happy for you.
Here is an animation I made of the, "What if" 2D Marvel Vs. Capcom had special intros?
Be sure to support the collection when it comes out!!
Need a Capcom Vs. SNK collection in my lifetime!
Idea for fighting game content creators.
Are Fighting Game Trials Actually Good Teachers?
From the menu, *most* games launch you directly into the match with no explanation.
How often do games explain gravity? Velocity? Hitstun? Negative edge? Side switch input?
How are you supposed to know that without outside knowledge?
What are the purpose of trials? Which game does it best? Do they even translate that knowledge into actual gameplay? How could they be improved? Do they need to be improved? You could just call them dumb fun, but things could always be more strategic.
Avatar Legends is the first game in a while to include a demo, but is that enough? Could things be pushed even further? Just thoughts 💭

Here's another little update on The Blood of Champions!
Just showing off some of the ingame dialogue between the characters. Shana is talking trash to Eddie while Eddie is just being a troll and getting on her nerves lol. Neireo and Inoue also have some back and forth going on with their sibling rivalry.
I've also been updating some of the basic movement and animations in game, just to give y'all a look at how the game is coming along so far. Still got a lot of polishing to do, especially with the movement, attacks, and recovery. I'm trying to get that smooth feeling you get from Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Third Strike.
One thing I still need to fix is the announcer's WAV audio. The timing is a little off, so I gotta get the voice clips to sync properly with the text as the letters pop up on screen.
I'm also adding an ingame currency system called Battle Credits. You'll be able to earn credits just by playing the game, completing challenges, and unlocking achievements. You can use them to unlock new game modes, character palettes, characters, music, and stages.
And nah, you won't have to spend real money to unlock any of that stuff unless is Future character DLC. I want players to actually earn things by playing the game. But Buy the DLC character to help support the game when it comes out. Even some New Character can be bought for free and some of the exclusive more character will need to be purchase. ( that ideas might change within time)
The game is still being worked on, and there's a lot I wanna improve and add. I'm just taking my time with it because I really want the gameplay to feel right.
More updates soon!

If you're an artist having trouble with commissions, check out this 40+ pages Google Doc guide "How to be a freelance artist"
docs.google.com/document/d/1…
For anyone aspiring to make a living from art commissions, you need to know it's never consistent. Some months I make $4000, some others I make $100.
Clients come and go, sometimes you have opportunities, and sometimes you don't. You also have to complete ongoing commissions before taking new ones, so it really depends on how fast you work and how good you are at marketing yourself.
Even if you've cleared all your commissions, nothing guarantees you'll find new clients to get money next month.
Sadly we also have to rely on socials for visibility, so that too makes it i consistent and hard to predict. If the right person sees your post at the right time, hooray, but it doesn't always work that way especially when you just get started.
Being a freelance artist can be really harsh, but on the other hand, it has great advantages that you'd never find in ANY other job. I love my job so much, and I wouldn't trade it for a corpo job for anything in the world.
Revisionist History..
Capcom Fighting Jam is actually a super sick concept that deserves another shot.
