THREAD: I recently finished tweaking a data science project with a goal of identifying the ideal metric to evaluate an RB's rushing performance, isolating individual play as much as possible.
Here’s the final formula:
RBIS = (MTF/Attempt * 10) + YAC/ATT - (YBC/Attempt/2)
If you’re the Giants right now… would you trade JJ McCarthy for Bo Nix?

Greta Gerwig’s $280M ‘NARNIA’ is reportedly raising concerns at Netflix after a test screening, with insiders calling the film “awful”.
The production has undergone reshoots amid those concerns.

Look at his feet. Bo’s main issue is he so often, from a crispy clean pocket loses his base for no reason. The extra hitch is there for him. These issues completely negate the benefit a dominant OL provides you. Not only does this rush reads but it causes errant throws.
I’m #noticing
This is terrible.
Bo Nix's production by passing depth in 2026, per @SumerSports
Behind LOS: 27/37, 124 yards
0-9 yards: 44/67, 370 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
10-19 yards: 10/20, 193 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs
20+ yards: 4/11, 132 yards
Again, he was clearly a first round talent and NFL scouting offices continue to show they’re built on relations and not hiring the best talent

10 years into PFF grades being debated and somehow the public still hasn't grasped their grades don't come from box score production.
I know via our data @FantasyPtsData vs the blitz Keenum had a TWT to Andrew Makuba. He also fumbled on a scramble.
Maybe that has something to do with it?
Abysmal.
Trade! The Vikings are sending QB J.J. McCarthy to the Giants for a 2027 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
With Jaxson Dart out for the regular season, New York adds another young QB, while Minnesota gains flexibility and McCarthy gets a fresh start.
