If the Knicks trade Towns you can kiss the championship window good bye.
He is the generational talent—not Brunson.
Don’t be a sheep.
If you are a collectivist then you necessarily hate empiricism… which means you hate science too.
Just fyi
Hot take:
Without the new CBA, the Knicks never would have been able to trade for KAT and would not have won the chip last season.
There are a few knicks that fall into OAKNLAK (once a Knick no longer a Knick):
1. Julius Randle
2. Elfrid Payton
3. Emmanuel Mudiay
Any other contenders?
Replying to @KendraRandle_
@KendraRandle_ will be good to see the Randle family back at Madison Square Garden tonight 🧡💙.
Once a Knick, Always a Knick.
Difference btwn Boston and NYC can be seen though of their respective marathon cultures—
Boston Marathon: *entire city takes off a random Monday in spring to get wrecked starting at 8am*
NYC Marathon: “oh sh*t the marathon is today?!”
Yes, but if you get him the best 3&D wing in the league, the best shooting big of all-time (w Jokic level play making ability), Josh hart and Mikal bridges, what’s to stop him from becoming an NBA finals mvp?
Darius Acuff is the poster child for empty calories scoring.
He's taking everything I've disliked about guys like Anfernee Simons, Cam Thomas and Keyonte George, but stretching it to its absolute extreme.
Maybe one day he'll be good. Maybe one day he'll find the difference between a good and bad shot.
Maybe one day, far into the future he'll actually guard someone...anyone.
The Sacramento Kings are 0-11 between preseason and regular season. Keagan Murray and Malik Monk are playing the worst basketball of their lives. Domas looks frustrated.
If they replaced Acuff with even a league average PG like Quickley they'd be 2-4 or 3-3. That's how actively bad he's been at controlling tempo, defending and doing virtually anything that contributes to winning other than aura farming for his own stats.
Yes, the league should call. And they should literally rescue his teammates from him.
Build out a team of only offensive rebounders, screeners and defenders. Guys who will catch his grenades, rebound his misses and sing at his alter of self-focussed basketball.
Darius Acuff Jr represents an archetype of everything I despise about AAU basketball, and everything I despise about Vivek Ranadive.
Years from now, they'll make a documentary about what this year was like for his teammates. And then you'll see how many careers had to be ruined for this undersized Iverson wannabe to chase Rookie of the Year.
It's disgusting basketball. And if you're cheering for it, you're insane.
Hot take: when all is said and done, Jalen Brunson will be remembered above all else for having inspired a generation of undersized ball hogs who can’t defend outside of the occasional drawn charge
Will forever be grateful to Brunson for the chip but…
He’s on the wrong side of 30 and we need financial space to extend our best player (KAT).
Food for thought..,
Is the goal to help Miami win a chip?
