73 years ago today the town of Kilbirnie paid tribute to our 1952 Scottish Junior Cup winners, all those years on the town and its supporters pay tribute to an equally worthy person in Johnny Burns. It is fitting that the marching supporters will follow in the footsteps of their predecessor through the Main St on this very day as they honour one of their own.
Valefield Park will witness something very unique today as pipers & our youth team accompany the players onto the park in remembrance of Johnny.
Prior to kick off the Burns family will lay a wreath before a minute’s applause is held in memory of a pretty special supporter. ❤️
