Our study explores 3D-printed auxetic scaffolds made of PLA and PLA-40%HA for bone tissue engineering. Adding hydroxyapatite improved the wettability, stiffness, and wear resistance, while re-entrant auxetics showed remarkable mechanical retention after biodegradation in PBS.
