How difficult is it to get a men’s basketball D1 scholarship today?
*Transfer portal players: 4,300+
*Available JUCO players: 3,800+
*Available NAIA transfers: 1,000+
*Total available: 9,100+ transfers
Division 1 scholarship spots currently open: 2,178 approx.
Additionally, there are thousands of high school players who are still available.
The route from high school player to college graduate has never been more difficult to navigate for young adults and their families.

I’m seeking D1 walk-ons and guys who aren’t playing major minutes to holla at me! This level demands experienced DAWGS!! NAIA basketball has come a long way! They are doing a great job of marketing and exposing teams and players to help guys get to the next level….

Sad to see some College Coaches on here tweeting insults about 17-18 year olds who reach out to them.
These kids trying to pursue their dreams. Doing their best to “knock on doors”…often without much guidance.
You are a grown & professional adult.
Do better!
