Wish people wd stop saying gloomily that it took Tv to get the subpostmasters to the top of the agenda. This is (as Libby Purves has said I think) the real power of arts and drama (expertise that is being starved of funding) Message is: we need to fund the arts.

Christmas won't be magical for every child.
A surprise festive book gift from you could light up Christmas for a vulnerable child. Will you help?

❤️from my daughter’s school: It will feel, no doubt, challenging at times and although your child’s five years at xxx comes to an end with their GCSEs, it is important for us all to remember that our students are so much more than just the grades they get on a piece of paper.
They are kind, caring and hardworking students with so many talents and qualities. These attributes are already recognised, and will continue to be so, as they go on and flourish in their next steps and beyond.
Thank you @antoniabeamish and Lucy for a terrific read.

Such a joy and a privilege recording @FloellaBenjamin’s autobiography @StrathPub
Today was the last day recording the audio book of my autobiography ‘What are you doing here?’ available soon. It was really emotional speaking out my many extraordinary stories which I want to share, especially with my #Playschool Babies @panmacmillan
Thank you for spending your day with us @StrathPub
