- Perspective Check :-
Nigeria taught me resilience.
Canada is teaching me consistency.
Both lessons matter.

Iβve been to all of those places (most of them this year) except St. Johnβs & the only ones on the list Iβd live in are Kamloops & Kelowna
Saskatoon, Moncton & Fredericton are just ok
Nelson & Charlottetown are great to visit but not sure about living
Sault St Marie or Thunder Bay? NO WAY π
A few Iβd add to the list: Kitimat BC, Cold Lake AB, Brandon MB, Kingston & Sarnia ON
π¨π¦ Canada's most dangerous intersection isn't in Toronto.
It's in rural Ontario.
π 4th Line & Wellington Rd 12, Mapleton Township
Here, many drivers let their guard down.
No horns. No gridlock. No flashing lights. Just an open road whispering:
"You're probably fine." And that's exactly when mistakes happen.
π¨π¦ 10 things you can only do in Canada that exist nowhere else on Earth
Canada isn't just a country. Sometimes it feels like a side quest. ππ
1. Skate on the world's largest naturally frozen skating rink.
2. Walk on the ocean floor, then come back hours later and find 16 metres of water above it (Bay of Fundy).
3. Drive an all-weather road to the Arctic Ocean.
4. Watch wild polar bears roam near town in Churchill, Manitoba.
5. Watch 3-down football.
6. Sleep in North America's only ice hotel.
7. Stand below a waterfall nearly twice the height of Niagara Falls.
8. Stargaze in the world's largest Dark Sky Preserve.
9. See the Canadarm, Canada's robotic contribution to space exploration.
10. Walk the world's longest recreational trail network.
Meanwhile, other countries are offering:
ποΈ Beaches
π· Wine tours
Canada: "Would you like to skate to work, drive to the Arctic Ocean, or sleep inside a giant block of ice?" π

π¨π¦ The 10 most underrated cities in Canada, according to people who actually moved there!
Everyone talks about: Toronto! Vancouver! Montreal!
But the people who left often won't stop talking about these places:
-Moncton, NB
-Kelowna, BC
-Charlottetown, PEI
-Saskatoon, SK
-Thunder Bay, ON
-Nelson, BC
-Fredericton, NB
-Kamloops, BC
-Sault Ste. Marie, ON
-St. John's, NL
Common reasons people love them:
π More affordable housing
πLess traffic
π³ Easier access to nature
π Stronger sense of community
π Slower pace of life
The Canadian dream is changing. For a growing number of people, success isn't moving to Canada's biggest city.
It's moving somewhere you can actually enjoy your life. π¨π¦π
15/ Another myth: "If I pay the RPRF and get refused, my money is gone."
Wrong. If you never become a permanent resident, the RPRF is refundable.
The processing fee usually isn't. The RPRF is.
16/ What happens after paying?
Typically:
β
IRCC finalizes processing
β
PR Portal instructions arrive (for inland applicants)
β
eCOPR is issued
β
PR card process begins
But timing varies. There is no magic countdown.
17/ The biggest mistake applicants make is treating an RPRF request like crossing the finish line.
It's not. It's more like seeing the finish line in the distance.
You're close. Closer than before. But the race isn't over.
18/An RPRF request means:
Be optimistic. Be encouraged. Be ready
But don't:
β Quit monitoring your application
β Let permits expire
β Change circumstances without reporting them
β Announce victory too early
19/ The smartest immigration mindset: Celebrate approvals.
Not signals. Because an RPRF request is a signal.
A strong one. A promising one. But still just a signal.
π¨π¦15 everyday things that can actually get you in trouble in Canada.
Canada is friendly. Canada's bylaws are sometimes... weird.
-Pay with too many coins
-Climb a tree in a Toronto park
-Keep a pet rat in Alberta
-Bring a llama into a national park
-Put a police siren on your bicycle
-Paint a wooden ladder (Alberta workplace rules)
-Feed wildlife
-Keep a tiger as a pet in Toronto
-Stay overnight in many city parks
-Fly a kite too close to trees or utility poles
-Drink alcohol in non-designated parks
-Drive with certain screens visible
-Let your dog run off-leash outside designated areas
-Hold a large park picnic without a permit
-Set off fireworks in a city park.
The most Canadian part? You can legally own a snowblower. Legally survive -35Β°C. But climbing a tree in the wrong park might be where things get complicated. ππ
π¨π¦In Toronto, climbing a tree in a public park can technically violate the city's Parks Bylaw.
Not because the tree complained. Because the city wants to: β’ Protect trees β’ Prevent injuries β’ Reduce damage to public property
Imagine telling your grandparents that their childhood hobby is now a bylaw issue.

I entered a bus this morning, and almost half of the passengers were fast asleep.
It struck me that many of us are really trying our best to make ends meet. We're sacrificing sleep, comfort, rest and even our peace of mind just to survive.
And sometimes, after all that stress, there's still so little to show for it.
People are tired.
People are trying.
People are barely holding it together, yet they wake up every morning and keep pushing.
May God remember every Nigerian who is genuinely trying to make an honest living.
May our efforts begin to yield results. ππ½β€οΈ

Two years from now, people will be celebrating their landing in Canadaπ¨π¦β¦ and it will hurt, because youβll know it could have been you.
That IELTS & TEF/TCF you keep postponing. That application youβre scared to start. Those βnext monthβ promises, theyβre not delays, theyβre selfβsabotage.
Immigration will stretch you, frustrate you, and mould you like a snowball. Youβll question yourself, cry sometimes, and wonder if you made a mistake. But hard isnβt impossible, and fear is not a strategy.
Book the exam. Start the application. Send the email. Take the step youβve been avoiding.
Two years from now, I want you celebrating your own win, not clapping for others while whispering God, when?
Your approval letter is waiting. If youβre tired, rest. But donβt quit.
