Read our story through the thread.
Elon Musk: I expect Grok to discover new physics by next year. Let that sink in.
“I want to just emphasize this point. With respect to academic questions, Grok 4 is better than PhD-level in every subject. No exceptions.
This doesn't mean that at times it may lack common sense and it has not yet invented new technologies or discovered new physics, but that is just a matter of time. I think it may discover new technologies as soon as later this year and I would be shocked if it has not done so next year.
I would expect Grok to literally discover new technologies that are actually useful no later than next year and maybe end of this year. It might discover new physics next year and within two years, I'd say almost certainly. Just let that sink in.”

The topic of AI driven room temperature superconductor discovery is going viral once again.
We have already begun our Grokene V2 research, and our work is attracting more attention than ever before.
As the spotlight grows, we will work even harder to push our research forward.

This is the kind of research that deserves attention and continues to support your Q3 roadmap.
Integrating DFT, electron-phonon coupling, and Eliashberg theory to identify experimentally viable superconductors is a serious undertaking. The real breakthrough will be bridging computational predictions with reproducible experimental results. Excited to see where Grokene V2 takes this. Supporting the science!
We are working toward establishing a partnership with @Dell through our distribution partner to build more advanced AI research products.
We will share further updates with the community as soon as we receive a response.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our distribution partner for representing us and supporting this initiative.
Project486 | Grokene V2 Research Initiative
We are initiating the next phase of Grokene V2 research, focusing on few layer superconducting architectures, carrier-density optimization, and enhanced phase coherence beyond monolayer BKT limitations.
Our computational framework integrates first-principles DFT, DFPT phonon calculations, EPW based electron phonon coupling analysis, and self consistent Eliashberg theory.
The objective is to identify structurally stable, experimentally testable superconducting candidates with higher critical temperatures.
From computational discovery to experimental validation.

LONG-TERM RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
To build an autonomous AI research laboratory capable of discovering, simulating, validating, and optimizing new materials with minimal human intervention.
Project486 aims to move beyond conventional computational materials research by developing AI agents capable of generating scientific hypotheses, conducting physics-based simulations, independently evaluating results, and continuously refining research strategies.
From AI-Driven Research to Autonomous Scientific Discovery.
Note: Computational predictions do not constitute experimental confirmation. Superconductivity claims require independent validation and physical experimentation.
Project486 has officially been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception Program
