The Seahawks are buyers ahead of the trade deadline again, while the Colts add significant draft capital -- including a third-rounder in 2027 -- to help replace the picks they gave up for Sauce Gardner ahead of a probable rebuild.
Trade! The Colts are sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.

Big loss for an already banged up Ravens OL
#Ravens first-round guard Vega Ioane, one of the NFL’s best rookies this season, suffered an MCL sprain against the #Bengals, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.
It’s considered to be a short-term injury, though he will miss a little time.

Started at 12 talking about why I think Larkin could be a very good target for the #Sabres to set their sites on
What did Sabres lose in Tuch? Speed, veteran leadership, goalscoring
What does Larkin bring? All of that + some impressive PP numbers
Been an interesting morning. I think it’s probably a long shot still and the Sabres are not on the approved 10-team list.
However, there’s some connection with the Sabres and Dylan Larkin. A center should be at the top of their target list. expectedbuffalo.com/buffalo-…

Per Lindy Ruff, forward Jiri Kulich “hasn’t cleared enough” in his protocol to fly west yet.

A nice relaxing weekend but back in the saddle next Sunday. Looks like good weather for a fall tailgate with the Ravens coming to OP.
Anyone interested in renting the RV next weekend for the Ravens game?

No suspension for Bills special teams ace Sam Franklin.
Statement from Bills DB Sam Franklin Jr.’s agents, Harold C. Lewis and Christian Addison, after appeals officer James Thrash reduced Franklin’s one-game suspension to a $14,926 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct:
“As we said from the start, Sam did not and would never spit at an opponent, and there was no evidence that he did. We're glad the suspension was overturned and grateful to the hearing officer for a fair and thorough review. It's unfortunate the league suspended Sam in the first place based on an unsupported accusation that received so much undeserved attention, and we hope the outcome is covered just as widely. We also hope the league takes a serious look at the opposing player's conduct, including striking Sam in the groin twice during the game. We're glad this is behind him, so Sam can get back to focusing on his teammates and next Sunday.”

CB Tre’Davious White is signing with the Bills’ practice squad, where he will acclimate before joining their active roster.
White turned down several opportunities to return to Buffalo. White started 16 regular-season games and two playoff games last season.
His agents, Kevin Conner and Robert Brown of @unisportsmgmt, confirmed the signing.

Good morning from the KeyBank Center! #Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin is back on the ice, as well as Jason Zucker.
Buffalo hosts Philly Wednesday night.
Some special teams love this morning.
The Bills ST unit has been very good this season. Tyler Bass is a perfect 13-13 on FGs. Punter Tommy Doman has been steady: 48.7 avg(11th), only 12 punts, 6 have been downed inside the 20. Ray Davis is averaging 31 yds/ kickoff return(2nd) and the only player better has 2 returns. Greg Dortch has stabilized the punt return spot.
There were lots of concerns during training camp about Bass, the punter spot, and punt return spot. Thru 6 weeks they’ve been good.
