Another Life-Saving Delivery to Choices Family Resource Center in Lake Placid, Florida!
4US, in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, recently provided the pregnancy center with a new Mindray Imagyn i9 2d ultrasound machine to support its life-saving work in the community.
The project was made possible through the generosity of 4US, Knights of Columbus Ponce de Leon Council #8074, Sacred Heart Catholic Church members in Punta Gorda, FL, through their baby bottle drive, and Knights of Columbus Supreme.
A dedication ceremony on October 8th was led by Fr. Vincent Clemente, pastor of St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid. Attendees included members of KofC councils #8074 and #7245; Tavia Ames, Right to Life Director for the Diocese of Venice; Al Heymann, Regional Administrator for the Knights of Columbus; Gary Miller, District Deputy; executives and board members from Choices Family Resource Center; and Lake Placid Mayor, Coleen Charles.
Brother Steve Kowalksi, Trustee and Director of Life for Ponce de Leon Council #8074, opened the ceremony by recognizing everyone’s hard work and generous support.
This is another great example of people coming together to support a local pregnancy center, saving more lives!

ChatGPT was used to save these twins' lives.
Polina Pompliano and her husband were pregnant with what they thought was their third baby.
An ultrasound revealed they were expecting identical twins.
The doctor told the couple that the babies didn't have a membrane separating them, which made the pregnancy very high risk.
She told them most people would abort.
When she got home, Polina felt something inside her tell her to look at the ultrasounds again.
When she did, she saw a faint line.
She uploaded the images to ChatGPT, which told her that the line was the membrane that the doctor couldn't find.
The doctor later admitted the mistake, but Polina switched practices, had a healthy pregnancy, and gave birth to two boys who are now a year old.
Polina calls the experience traumazing and says she has PTSD just retelling the story.
This is a grim reminder of how quickly the medical industry jumps to abortion as the “solution.”
Every baby deserves their chance at life, regardless of their diagnosis.
