NOT the former player. Just a fan of his. Posting about Rams, following people who watch film, learning from them. Talking Rams history and stats.

McD 'looked for work' --dropped back and undercut the crosser, motion took everyone away from his zone, no one to match so he looks at QBs eyes, goes back and QB never saw him

Braden Fiske with a nice club move-- crosses face and tosses blocker aside, Aaron Donald was supposed to be trapped, but he got there before blocker. Acutally AD was trying to stop -- maybe, he just went unblocked and was trying to make huge TFL ... teams are not going to run when they dfon't get the DTs blocked

Rams call s slant for the DL, but Aaron Donald does his patented backdoor, rather than his own gap, but he's always been so quick that he can slip a block and still get to where he needs to be for a TFL

looks like cover-6 to start, but ends up man, Lake ha the #3 receiver and sticks with him, McD in the lot, he takes teh #2 and Wallace takes the #1 out of the bunch so showing cov-2, playing cover-1

Josaiah Stewart's cleaning up Aaron Donald's pressure on an TEX game or T-E game whatever you want to call it

Wesley Bailey's sack--mostly hustle, not a move

Ejiro Evero not going to help pass rush, or the fronts. Rams defense is good versus the pass and if pass rush can pick it, would be great help.

Leonard Little was inches from ending it, maybe forcing fumble and so on, actually jarred the ball a little, but Brady held on and stepped up

yellow us usually drops on a Tampa-2, this one shows the exchanges for a non traditional Tampa-2, with CB playing deep half and the right safety dropping to the 'hole'

The Rams’ kicker carousel has officially come FULL CIRCLE. LA is bringing back Joshua Karty. Can he finally solve the Rams’ kicking issues?

Just saw clip on right today. Souldn't be any debate anymore on this play. Just talking this play. Rams ram a 3-man game, poker (or palm or ISO, whatever you want to call it) to free the DE (in this case Fiske) to get pressure and it worked AD and Kobie slant right, Fiske loops left. However, for me, new info ... Donald was not only slanting, he as tripped, making it a lot easier gfor QM to throw him to ground. Not the flex some wanted. A win for the Rams DL on that rep. *that rep*

Hadn't seen this angle until today, not only was Donald slanting with Turner to run a poker game to free Fiske, which worked well, turns out Donald was also accidently tripped. Allows QB to be able to throw him. Argued for a week on this, thought there was a slight trip, but didn't see this until now. Not quite the flex many wanted it to be.
Donald ran a stunt, his job to open lane for looper. QM gets points for his inital punch, and he got the 'block' there. After that he grabbed a guy who was falling backwords. QM is an All-Pro, a great player, strong. But people getting hyped over the take down is silly. DOnald did his job, Fiske ran free (actually 3 man stunt) and QM did his job. It's not like it was a head up, one-on-one ... it's a slant and Ol is supposed to take him where he's going.
