I wonder how many people realize just how on the brink people are This guy is out here desperately trying to make a living to put a roof over his kids’ heads. He, like my dad growing up, probably left before they woke up and got home after they went to bed, just to do it all again the next day. And he had to put up with being exploited for some retarded kid’s content that he’ll put online for strangers to laugh at. And yet this guy, with all that’s going on, greets this punk ass kid with a smile. Like… how? Do people even stop to ask themselves how a guy can be under that much immense pressure and stress and still be immediately nice to a stranger? This is reaching a tipping point. Regular guys are being pushed to their absolute limits by this stuff. They work endless hours for corporations, hardly get to see the kids they do it all for, and have to be subjected to some retard’s idea of Tik Tok content.

Have some wheat pasture. Did the math on owning some steers this winter, $130,000 to make $10,000 on 50 head. Not sure about that. Or can custom graze at .75 a head with minimal risk for $6000-$7500. I’d like to get into cattle at some point but with the price of them these days it’s tough to want to take the risk. Maybe I’m being too short sighted.

Paying $500+ a gun to hunt farm raised birds, trespassing on private property, not following local regulations and driving around with orange hats on the dash is priceless.
Next time someone says hunting is expensive, just remind them that feedlot beef is $10 per pound.

Folks think because of things like this a person must automatically be on the other team. They’re all garbage. Just low hanging fruit here.

Love the full screen warning about a brake light @JohnDeere, I’m glad I get to see it every time I pull the handle back.

One thing I’ve learned about myself is if I write stuff down via pen and paper, I can retain that information. If I try to do it electronically, I get spaced out and retain none of it or very little. Going back to crop planning via pen and paper for next year. Will probably enter that information in ops center after the fact but my monkey brain can’t seem to make it work that way as the only source.
