ChatGPT casually dropped an APP STORE 🤯 It can now: - browse the web (RIP Bing waitlist, cutoff) - write and run Python (RIP replit?) - access org info (RIP docsearch startups) - add third party plugins from OpenTable, Wolfram, Instacart, Zapier, etc) - developer SDK in preview

In other news, @Netlify is making a real investment with support for hosting @remix_run apps at the edge. Netlify and @fastly are the first edge-hosting companies to host their own repositories for Remix adapters and runtimes. More to say on this very soon!

If you're doing Scrum and estimating or breaking up stories into tasks, you may want to reconsider. From the horses mouth: 👇

What about a name to stick with old boring technology due to fear of adopting new on, and eventually you would know old technology is phasing out too lol. I have had this experience with Xamarin and now they are sunsetting xamarin lol

That's really cool! We can also use it to make expending backgrounds. codepen.io/mathieualphamosa/…

GitHub is adding some fancy blockquotes to markdown previews (documents, issues, PRs, discussions, etc.) Markdown / Preview
On the left, there are two examples of markdown code: > **Note** > This is a note > **Warning** > This is a warning On the right, it shows how GitHub renders it in the document preview. They're regular blockquote. But the "Note" word is blue with an info icon on the left. The "Warning" word is yellow with a warning icon.

I’ve always respected @Trevornoah so much but this closing speech from the White House correspondents’ dinner is particularly spectacular.

Trevor Noah gets serious at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, remarking on what a ‘blessing’ it is in the U.S. to be able to ‘seek the truth and speak the truth’
